Story

We are a boutique tea and coffee shop in Caloundra that provide the community with somewhere warm and welcoming to sit and relax. Whether you like to choose from a wide selection of teas or appreciate an amazing single origin coffee you will be in good hands at Grounded Tea.

Our goal, to find the worlds best teas and coffee and bring them to the people.

From Kunming in China, Assam and Darjeeling in India, Dimbula in Sri Lanka, Dhankuta in Nepal and to Li Shan in Taiwan; we scaled mountainous plantations and traversed evergreen plains. What we found was not flavoured teas and leaves sprayed with vanilla, but teas which represented the unique parcel of land, the climate and the curators of the tea bush. Flavours that entice the mind into the deep and wonderful world of tea.

Our teas are sourced from small farms, villages and cooperatives where manual labour is the only way to harvest a crop. We believe in supporting the growers of such a precious resource and encourage you to look for our organic and handpicked range to help support the farmers.
