Wow. Just wow. This place takes the cake. So it all started with eggs Benny order, too which my eggs were more boil then Benny. Upon asking the staff if I could have some Benny eggs I was confronted with a heavy handed stand over type lady who I believe would be the owner who instructed us that the eggs were done that way and that's how it is. I kindly explained that this was not general nature of the recipe. She then proceeded to lecture us about how things are done here. My table partner then made a comment that was generalising people's acceptance of fine breakfast dishes, to which she took a huge offence. She fumed off and came back out demanding to know where we were from and placed a fresh set of eggs down which was very nice. After which she emitted several muffled sounds and the interaction ended. Please be aware when attending this venue that the set menu is indisputable.
I have been to this establishment a few times with my partner and children, the food is away top notch and the staff always go out of there way to make us smile especially the kids, they love coming here for pancakes and ice chocolates i personally love the breakfast wraps and stake sandwich and you can never go past the delicious coffee. thank you to the owner and her wonderful staff for everything they do for our little local community.
The most pleasing aspect of our visit was the amazing customer service. Down to earth, friendly and made you feel welcome. The coffee and muffins were great, and the chocolate brownie was fantastic!Food: 5/5
Came for a coffee and also grabbed a couple of ham, cheese and tomato toasties after seeing how great they looked! Lovely fresh ham off the bone, generous portion and great coffee and staff to top it all off! Would recommend this highly and will definitely be back next time we are out this way

This place is amazing! The staff were extremely attentive and we received great service. They were more than accommodating to our sons dietary needs. The prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious. We’ll be back for sure.
Had a lovely lunch at grindstone cafe accompanied by a friend. We both ordered the chicken and salad roll/wrap. As seen in photos this was a delight to order and dig into! Have come here before and will not stop coming as staff are a delight to be around. Such a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere!! The green tea and iced coffee were also a nice treat on the side along side the main meal:
Little cafe that served the goods, delicious breakfast and good coffee. Prompt and friendly service. We will be back.
Top little coffee shop with very friendly staff. The coffee was great ant the breakfast wrap i had was delicious. There was lots of other goodies on display as well, but they will have to wait until my next visit.
Such good food! Eggs bene and toasties are my absolute fav. And good customer service
