Had a great experience at Grill’d Tunstall Square. We ordered two burgers with chips and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was. The wait time was impressively short—only about 5 minutes—which was a big plus. The restaurant itself was clean, modern, and had a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. The staff member who greeted us was welcoming and friendly, which made the visit even better.nnThe only drawback was the size of the burgers, which felt quite small for the price. Aside from that, the quality and service were excellent, and we enjoyed our meal overall.
We’ve ordered takeaway from Grill’d Donvale several times. Each time we’ve attended, we’ve been lucky enough to be served by Joel.nnHaving worked in hospitality myself as a trainer, in management, and front of house before becoming a teacher, I can honestly say Joel is one of the best service crew members I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in a very long time. He remembered me and part of my order on my second visit, and by the third he knew my name and could pre-empt my order.nnHis demeanor is just gorgeous happy, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He provides honest feedback and thoughtful suggestions, and even tried to place my order into a deal, which is rare these days. Joel is always well groomed, and his uniform appears clean, neat, and tidy a true credit to the store.nnThe venue itself has consistently been clean and tidy. The communication between staff is respectful and clear, which is always lovely to observe. The toilets were clean and well stocked which can sometimes be an issue at quick-service restaurants. Meals arrived quickly, which we appreciated. The only small area for improvement would be the placement of ingredients in the burgers they tend to fall out one side, so a little more balance in assembly would make them perfect. And to fill the chip buckets a little more.nnOverall, a fantastic local store with exceptional customer service. We’ll definitely continue coming back!nThank you Joel for your excellent service.
What exactly is this supposed to be? We ordered a Caesar salad, but if this mess qualifies, then it’s the worst Caesar I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating. A few chunks of repurposed, rock-hard garlic bread, two sad little strips of bacon, one over-fried egg dumped on top not even broken up, and a head of lettuce. Parmesan? Possibly present in spirit only. All of this for the bargain price of $20. Truly impressive that a place serving food like this is still in business.
It amazes me how a food chain has such a level of service that makes me feel loved and appreciated as a customer. The moment I walked into the restaurant I felt the passion and love from all the employees ESPECIALLY Jason. After I ordered we initiated small talk and as we are around age we began to talk about the similarities we had. I have never felt so interpersonally connected to a member of staff and his vibe was amazing. The customer service here is phenomenal.
I recently visited Grill'd in Tunstall Square, and while I was excited for a tasty meal, my experience had its ups and downs. The vibe is casual and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a burger. However, I found myself waiting quite a while for my food to arrive, which was surprising since there was only one other group in the restaurant at the time.nWhen I needed to ask for something, I noticed the staff were busy chatting out the back, making it a bit difficult to get their attention. It felt like they could have been a bit more attentive, especially with such a light crowd.nOn the plus side, Grill'd has some great options for kids! They offer a Mini Me Pack, which includes a mini-burger or bites, mini chips, and a drink. There’s also the Dynamic Duo, perfect for little ones with big appetites. My kids loved their meals and it’s nice to see a place that caters to families.nOnce my food finally arrived, I have to say the burgers were delicious and well-prepared. The fresh ingredients really made a difference. Despite the wait and service hiccups, the quality of the food made up for some of the frustrations.nOverall, Grill'd Tunstall Square has potential with its tasty burgers and family-friendly options, but they definitely need to work on their service speed and attentiveness. I’d consider giving it another shot in hopes of a smoother experience next time!
