The lamb burger was soft and fresh. The hamburger was yum too. The salad was the star. Fresh, crunchy and with beets. The chips were nice.
Came for a quick dinner on a public holiday and order a bacon and cheese burger and a summer burger on low carb buns. When the order arrived the bacon and patty were burnt. I showed and asked the waitress for a change, which they did, but the new ones were the same photos.Food: 1/5
Friendly staff However we had 2 problems with our meal The onion rings were so overcooked it wasn't funny and in the burger there was a piece of waxed paper left there After telling the staff, there was no refund or replacement. Just "ok I'll let the cook know" The toilets were dirty and smelled disgusting Do not go here!!!!
Moonee Ponds store very much less than average for a Grill'd. I usually have mine at Southern Cross station. At SC they make you feel like they want you there, and the burgers not only taste great, they look great. Moonee Ponds staff not unpleasant, but not at all interested in elevating your experience, or in making your burger look appetising. Normally I feel happy at Grill'd, at MP I left feeling like 'meh, may as well have gone to Hungry Jacks' . Lift your game Moonee Ponds. Have some pride. It doesn't take much.
This Grill'd is the worst I have ever been to by far. After being served my burger, I noticed that there was a hair in it which was supposed to be avoided by the staff wearing headbands but none of them were. The lovely waitress was super apologetic and took it back to the kitchen where they made me another. Unfortunately, their second attempt was worst than the first. The patty was burnt to hell and completely inedible. Upon being understandably frustrated, I went up again to tell the staff that my burger was burnt. The girl Jess who looked to be in charge who I later found out wasn't and there was not a manager on the floor refused to refund me because it was apparently "against their policy" despite serving me two inedible burgers. After wasting over an hour of my time, she continually refused to give a refund and she rudely asks me to leave - accusing me of "disrupting customers". At this time, one of the other kitchen staff - a short, babyfaced, blonde teenager proceeds to put her hands on my mother and demand us leave! It was only after we threatened to call the police so that they would give us a refund did Jess finally decide to call upper management who said it was absolutely fine to do so. This was a legitimately shocking experience that left me and my mother unwilling to ever walk into another Grill'd again.
Public holiday rates and still served mediocre food. Arrived 2 minutes early however still 15 minutes after arrival to get dinner out. Caesar Salad had no egg, Baa Baa burger appears to have mice or rat bites taken out of the bun and onion rings burnt to a crisp. Not only this, a staff member standing on top of the grill to clean the vents. Nice to see the staff caring about safety and image.
The food at this Grill'd is usually delicious, sometimes in my experience you get the odd cold side dish but generally speaking good all round. They have plenty of seating, I particularly like up the back where there's more decorations and less noise. Staff are usually friendly.Food: 4/5
Burgers are always good but what most amazes me is the staffs here. Although everyone's good, the lady with bright green headband is a superstar. I haven't seen anyone perform their job with such excellence and joy elsewhere. It makes me happy to observe her in action : I genuinely hope she achieves great success in her future endeavors.
Super busy which was to be expected for a Friday night but good service & of course the food was excellent! Their sweet potato fries are the best & the impossible burger lives up to its name. Do not order through their app/website directly for take away. If there is an issue with your order, it will take weeks for a refund. I’m still waiting two weeks for mine. Common recurrence at this particular restaurant is overcooked food, inconsistent portions, and errors with burgers - namely providing meat burgers when a vegetarian one was ordered. When you try to contact Grill’d support for assistance, you’ll receive general copy & paste excuses for their slackness, and absence of a customer centric focus. Feels like the passion for delivering a great customer experience has disappeared. ‘We’ll refund you when we feel like it’ is their ethos, apparently.
