A peaceful forest filled with Birdlife and wildlife in suburbia. Any time of the day you're likely to see kangaroos and hear kookaburras. Walking the tracks is very peaceful. A great place to spend some quiet reflection time. Gates are for pedestrians only to keep the wildlife in, so no vehicles or strollers can be taken in. Might have to contact parks Vic about getting wheelchair access.

This has got to be my favourite place to take a short walk, hear and see beautiful birds, see the rabbits and kangaroos. I love the smell of the trees, the sound of the frogs, birds and cicadas. Lots of insects and sticks to keep the kids entertained while walking too.

It looks like it would be nice once your in the reserve however it’s not child friendly, the tiny entrance gate does not allow normal to large size prams through even folded down which meant I couldn’t go for a walk with my child. The toilet block was full of graffiti cans and other rubbish and was out of toilet paper. The barbecue area was clean and tidy but the playground is quite aged.

We enrolled in an eco explorers bush kinder. The kids loved it. The park and nature reserve is beautiful. We even saw a kangaroo!

I love that we live near greswell. Walking through here you will see kangaroos 95% of the time and feel like you have escaped somewhere up near Kinglake
