Clean, well located for buses. No hairdryer. Needed a proper handle on bathroom door. It was a latch lock at top of door that was diffito use. Short person wouldn't be able to reach. Then there was a lock on the outside so someone could lock you in. No rod in wardrobe to hang clothes. As no staff in cafe breakfast area messy with dirt dishes. Rooms: Small. Bed comfortable
Room was very cold with an icy blowing under front door. Aircon didn't work and small 20cm fan heater hardly made a difference and was really noisy. Bed had only a thin synthetic blanket - we froze. Room not serviced for 3 days so wet towels and dirty cups remained. Toaster provided but no plates or knives and no soap, shampoo etc. They advertise that parking is provided but there are only 9 spaces for 36 rooms. Very poor accommodation and very bad value. They declined us a refund.
Location is a nightmare, it is just on the signal and extremely dangerous to enter the property from the main street. The council should do something about it. Besides, filthy carpets, leaking fridge on the carpet. The staff was kind of accommodating. The air-conditioning was noisy and not sure if it even worked. The breakfast was ok but nothing that they claim to be part of package. The shower was good. Overall close to Sydney cbd
A disgusting bed, dirty linen, and low water pressure in the bathroom were some of my complaints. It was supposed to be a five-day stay, but I only stayed two nights and changed hotels. It is difficult to park a big car in a hotel parking lot. A zero-star rating is appropriate for this property.Rooms: 1/5
Accommodation was OK, a little bit over priced for what you get. Only had one coffee sachet in room and you could not fill the kettle from the tap as the basin was too small. The advertising said quite sound proof rooms but it sounded like a herd of elephants were running up and down the stairs. But it was close to the RNS which was what I needed
I don't give them any stars as my room that I paid for was not clean there was stuff in the draws none of the lamps worked shower was dirty with toilet paper in the shower used toothbrush and soap in the shower carpet no vacuum and a little bit of toilet paper on the roll so I told them and they put me in another room that was so small tv doesn't all the channels nknow one comes to clean your room my toilet paper is all gone it's not a good place to stay
I booked at Greenwich inn for 3 nights via agoda using 2 seperate bookings at different times. One booking was for 2 nights and the other booking for 1 night. I specifically emailed and rang the hotel to ensure both bookings are combined and that I stay in the same room for the 3 nights. After the 2nd night, my belongings eg suitcase, toiletries, shoes etc were moved from one room to another for the 3rd night without my permission/knowledge. I was also NOT advised by reception that I would be staying in 2 rooms when I checked in. When I spoke to reception about this, I was advised that someone had specifically requested that room last minute and I had been moved to a different room. Reception also told me how this guest had paid a higher price than me for this room. The new room that I went to looks nothing like the photos, it was smaller, dirtier carpets and uncomfortable bed. I would not have left this review if not for the worse part being that my belongings were touched and moved without me giving permission for this to occur. Reception tried to call which I could not answer as I was at a course but this in no way automatically allowed them to move my stuff to a worse room to accomodate another guest. The other guest should have gone to the room that I was moved to but as it so turned out apparently this other guest didn't end up coming. I found this out because I went to get my phone charger which the cleaner hadn't moved across and I also couldn't locate my items that I put in the fridge. When I complained to the owner/reception about this, he offered me stay an additional night at no cost for that night. I mentioned this is not suitable as I was leaving but I could stay a different night instead for no fee or a nominal fee provided it was not the worse room where i was moved but he instead started to bargain over how much I should pay Eg: he mentioned he can discount $50 to bring to $90 but I mentioned that as I paid $120 so the discounted price would be $70. Why offer a free night anyways when you decide to later bargain the price for a different night? I told him to email me by the end of the day about what the best he can offer but this was not received. Overall if you value your privacy and belongings then stay away !
AWEFUL! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE STAFF!! RUDE ENCOUNTER UPON ARRIVAL. MOREOVER THE SAME PERSON AT RECEPTION SHOUTED AT CUSTOMERS DURING BREAKFAST. THAT PETSONS NAME WAS ravi!!! WILL NEVER BOOK HERE EVER JUST FOR HIS ATTITUDE, MANNERISMS AND BEHAVIOUR. 3RD CLASS SERVICERooms: 1/5
Small musty room, legs hung over edge of King sized bed, air-conditioner louvres loose causing a sleepless nighthad to get up twice and move louvres up, but they kept on falling down and eventually I switched the air-conditioner off Bathroom tiny, just able to fit into shower cabinet, I am 6'4" tall and the shower head could not be adjusted and was chest high. No cutlery in room, very badly designed parking, barely managed to fit my car into available space even though Manager guided me. Hot breakfast advertised was non existent, just a toaster and bread with jams and butter. Receptionist advised she would make a hot breakfast but never turned up at the Cafe next door where breakfast was served. I understand it's a budget hotel but not worth the cost, as Urban Hotel next door had better rooms for approximately $30 more than the $120 I paid. Dangerous exit from hotel which was straight onto busy main road.
Clea, affordable, great place to stay in Sydney for short term accommodation.
