Charcoal Chicken Greenacres is the only place I will buy chicken. We will drive 15-20 minutes to buy their chicken. Their chips are Amazing and the salad selection is huge and they are all Fresh daily & Absolutely Delicious. The owners and staff are Awesome, they are very friendly and customer service is their highest priority. The shop is Always very clean and tidy. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. We have been going there for more than 20 years!! Here’s to the next 20 years Charcoal Chicken Greenacres!!
My sister and I came in today, the staff possibly owners were so friendly and accomodating! Never had such good customer service from a takeaway store! We ordered the Family Pack the chicken was amazing as was the chips, the salad is fresh and honestly will now be our go to place would recommend to anyone!
My sister and I came here for the first time today after living in the area for 6 months. We have been looking for a good takeaway shop for the family and we are so glad we stumbled across this absolute gem of a place. The staff welcomed us instantly and our food was made promptly. The chicken was full of flavour and juicy, the chips were made to perfection and in clean oil where you can instantly taste and see the difference which is hard to find these days aswell as the salads being fresh. They also allowed us to change the drink in the meal to suit our preference. Thankyou so much for the experience, we will definitely be back!
Brilliant food. Amazing service, always so friendly. Steak sandwiches and burgers are delicious, charcoal chicken is amazing, fish and chips are amazing too, and the banana fritters are the best I've had, we ALWAYS order them. I drive past at least 2 or 3 take away chicken shops to get to greenacres charcoal chicken
Whilst Chicken is good I could not have been more disappointed with the overall meal. I ordered a hot pack - 1/4 chicken, roast potato, roast pumpkin, peas, carrots and gravy. I asked that they change the roast potato to chips and they not only charged me $1.50 more but also removed the roast pumpkin which I had brought that particularly pack for. When I rung to point this out I was informed this is what they always do, very unhappy especially since the carrots are hard and tasteless.
Lovely customer service but I expected more from the food. Chicken was dry and inedible, no other food had salt on it and the fish was tasteless. Only came here due to being awarded best take away by safm, very disappointed. Menus online had prices that are cheaper than in store. I can see replies from owners in previous reviews stating that their menu in store is the only menu to go by and they have no control of the online ones… well how do you expect anyone to preorder if they don’t even know what they’re ordering? I couldn’t find any legit menu from ‘Charcoal Chicken’ themselves. I would suggest uploading your actual menu to your Facebook page, that way other customers, like myself, aren’t charged an extra $15 on their order unexpectedly.
Great tasting charcoal chicken and good range of salads that won't break the bank. Definitely worth a visit. Just an honest little chicken place, definitely one to check out for a quick and nutritious lunch. It's a little further away than others but the extra flavour delivered by the charcoal cooking process is worth the extra driving. I enjoy pairing the chicken with some of their healthier salads bean salad in particular and a generous serving of chips.
Chicken wasn't charcoal cooked as I thought. Price was good for a lazy weekend. Garlic sauce wasn't a real garlic sauce and very expensive. It was mix of yoghurt,water and a tiny bit of garlic paste and not thick enough. Not good in at all. Not recommended.
Really good food….I had a hamburger, grilled fish and Greek salad and dim sims.Next time I’m going to get a chicken.They looked delicious!They are charcoal chickens as the chickens were being cooked as I was there.The previous review is fake.Well done to the team Friendly service too!
WORST CHIPS EVER OVERCOOKED INEDIBLE dont even get me started on the "charcoal chicken" Overcooked and so dry Worst ever How on Earth did they win Best Chicken shop ?? DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY If I could I would give it a 0 star
