I recently had the pleasure of dining at your pub and I must say, the steak sandwich was absolutely incredible! The meat was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy, and packed full of flavor. After seeing the reviews, I had to try the parma. It lived up to expectations. However, the salad was a letdown. The atmosphere is great and perfect for watching the footy.
Great setting in a historic pub. Seating layout and options is good including a small private room.nOrdering at the bar and good delivered to your table in a reasonable time of around ten minutes.nMenu variety fairly typical of the pub scene.nnI got the chicken schnitzel which was average in taste, texture and price. I did ask for and paid for a garlic sauce but that never came.nThe chicken wings come with bleu cheese which was good.nService was friendly.
Great beer garden and the second best steak sandwich in Australia so I'm told. It was bloody delicious though
Last Drinks for Jones,nnIt was a delight having this place as a venue for a send-off for a fellow inmate who got an early release.nnThe beers were cold, service with a smile & a story.nAnd enough room to swing a pool que around.nnWe didn't get a chance to eat, but I'm sure it would have been superb.
