I had their beef steak pie. Warmed just right - didn't burn the roof my mouth like pies normally do :-. Downed with an OJ. This was after doing the George Bass Coastal walk. Felt like the right kind of nourishment!Food: 4/5
Lots of options here for everyone, we had salad rolls, pies, sausage rolls and slices. The prices are pretty high and ended up spending $48 for 4 people and we weren't all that happy with pastries, the pastry wasn't all the way cooked and they were warm but not hot.
I have gone there every so often and they never have what I want no matter the time I go. Service also has been rather poor on most occasions. Today I bought a chocolate mudcake with cream and no lie the cream tasted weird like it had been kept in a fridge uncovered absorbing the smells from the fridge. I can't get the taste out of my mouth. As of today I give up on this bakery.
The service was fast and the ladies were friendly. But the food seriously disappointed. Pies were ok, but then we got a Mars cookie and a small apple pie.. Mars cookie was at least 4-5 days old, dry and rather off.. And fully priced!!! Apple pie was literally fridge cold! Not sure if it was defrosting or just kept in the fridge.. We literally wasted 9 bucks on nothing, had to throw it away
Great egg and bacon rolls, best on strip. Bread is nice. Croissaints are sweet. The fried dumplings are good but overpriced. Coffee is average. Service is hit and miss. Doesn't seem like they can be bothered and can take awhile to acknowledge you. Will still go for bread and maybe the occasional treat.
We have been stopping here on our way to Phillip Island for 10 years. Covid lockdowns and staff shortages have hit it hard. A substantially reduced menu and cake selection mean less choices. Service is also slower. Food and coffee still delicious so we will keep going with the hope its fortune will turn around. Parking: Plenty of parking outside.
Great cakes, pies, and other bakery products. Like most businesses post COVID the pantry can be a little short staffed, but if you can wait a few extra minutes, the food and coffee is still great!Food: 5/5

Nice traditional bakery with good selection of pies, pasties and other sweets. Not a yuppie bakery, just normal country bakery.Food: 5/5
I only bought a vanilla slice and it was one of the best vanilla slices I’ve had! The vanilla was so creamy and the biscuit bit had a good crunch.
