Delicious food with local produce used in the process. Limited menu due to the post long weekend visit; however the options were still available for most dishes. Generous serving size, and baked bread in house is an extra addition. Could not complain after having a lunch time menu..
We arrived early afternoon on a stop-off on the way home from Canberra back to Sydney. Google Maps had the location correctly set but both Garmin and Apple Maps took us on a turn off from the highway one stop too early a call to them will see you right if you need help finding them. Anyhow, the location was beautiful - the olive trees shimmered in the breeze, set off nicely against the silvery browns and greens of the environment. All were bathed in this soft golden light from the early afternoon sun in a cloudless sky. The cafe itself was homely with a shop selling the oils, balsamic vinegars and other ingredients used in your food, all made by Grandma's. I went for the Greek salad and was not disappointed. Fresh, chunky veggies in an olive oil dressing served with a slice of store baked bread. Some of is went for the press on offer and were similarly impressed by the crunchy pastry and the rich fillings. To drink we had lemon sodas and their 'special lemon drink'. The soda was refreshing but some may find it under sugared. I'm trying to be a little more healthy so I preferred this. The lemon drink was more of a traditional lemonade - tastey, rich and no doubt with a little more sugar added although it did not taste too sweet. All in all, this stop-off added to our journey home and I would recommend the venue.
Good food, Great little place to stop at when heading North or South. Though they didn’t have plain beef pies to my disappointment. Which I really value in bakeries. Good place anyway! A-!
Amazing views. Love the shop. Next time we'll try the restaurant. Beautiful fresh Olive Oil
Nice place to stop on the drive between Sydney and Canberra. Delicious meat pies and baked goods.
Very friendly staff. Some of the best olives and olive oil .
Odd little place but worth a visit. Adequate menu
Great views and a very cosy place to have a break and have a coffee.
Good food and friendly service stop in for lunch food was fresh and delicious big
I found this place to be an A1 pit stop on the Sydney-Canberra slog. I was taken aback by the beautiful location. With ample parking, the location convenient, close to the highway, although far enough to seem serene. The food and beverage selection is excellent and we walked away two very happy well-fed people. We had breakfast there and had the food was excellent. There is also a great gift shop.
