Nice pop over on a warm spring afternoon.nLemon Lime Vodka was delicious and perfect for the day.nThe indoor decor was cool - really like the tables had checker/chess boards on them - very cool
The chicken wings are really good and you get a huge serving. Enough for 2 people if you ordered chips or onion rings to go with them. Good beer selection, but the drinks are a bit pricey.
As a coeliac, this is a great pub. But my non GF partner also thought it was fantastic. Several GF beers I'd never heard of on tap, gluten free burger was excellent. A huge variety of regular beers on tap too. Busy but not too noisy and the wines were pretty good too. A great pub in Newy, right next to the tram line too!
Excellent spot, good food, and many many beers to choose from. The ladies at the bar are always polite, friendly, and efficient. I had the BBQ wings. They were delicious and very reasonably priced. Always a relaxed atmosphere. It's always a pleasure to go there!
We all loved it there, I like the board games they have and trivia cards that's a really cute idea. The choice of beer was staggering. My son had the trio of wings, I think $24 for a kg of wings is really good. I had the local #20 from Hamilton which was light and fruity. Definitely book over the weekend if you want a table it's packed. I would definitely go there again no problem. Really happy with the experience.
