I had a very disappointing experience at this coffee shop. It felt like we were treated unfairly because of our Asian appearance.nnDespite there being five or six available seats, the server insisted on seating us right by the entrance. This spot was extremely cold in the winter, while white customers were seated in the warmer areas inside.nnWhen we ordered, the server gave us the wrong table number, which caused our food to be delivered to other tables before finally reaching us.nnAdding to the frustration, we noticed that two white customers were able to occupy a table with just two coffees and left at their leisure. In contrast, we ordered two drinks and two main courses, but before we even finished our meal, the server tried to clear our table and hurry us out.nnThe lack of respect and courtesy at this establishment is appalling. In this day and age, such service is not just unacceptable but also disgusting. I will never return to this place, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well.
The pictures are all recommended dishes. Wagyu toast is really delicious! Curry rice has a unique taste that will keep you coming back for more!nSmall drawback: Parking is a bit difficult.
Cam here few times. My experience with the food first time is amazing and I would like tonVisit again. Second time I am not sure what changed. Could be the sauce in the sandwich or the seasoning. Is not the same any more. Most of the food still amazing. The Porkchop sandwich’s sauce becomes a bit sour. And the crispy chicken omurice becomes a bit salty and lost the sweetness from my first visit. But cooking techniques 10/10. Will give them another try sometime. Things might change.
Avoid their drinks -nThe matcha tasted nothing like matcha.. Absolutely not a Japanese style/ premium matcha. It had an unpleasant grassy and cheap “matcha” taste. As you can see the residue sitting at the bottom, it was not smooth. Highly disappointed.nThe sesame latte was just a pass, a bit on the sweet side. But still, the residue.nnThe omurice was good but the portion was really small, only 2 prawns are served. The rice portion was small too.nnI would recommend getting the pork sando!nnOverall the cafe is quite noisy:. However customer service was great. People were nice and polite.
Nice atmosphere, but overpriced and underwhelming food.nnThis place has a great vibe, but unfortunately, the food and service fell short of expectations considering the prices. Hojicha latte was a bit better than the sesame one, although both average.nnThe portions were small, and while the food itself wasn't bad, it wasn't anything special.nnAlthough the staff were friendly but the service was really disappointing and how they handled food wasn’t hygienic.nnMy partner's dish seemed like it had been touch by another table, as it was delivered to another table first and then took to ours. It looked touched with a spoon.nnit took a very long time for mine to arrive. When I inquired, the owner questioned if we even ordered correctly! They eventually found out my meal had been given to another table and rushed a replacement. It only took them 1 min for them to make my food, the eggs in my sandwich were cold, suggesting pre-made ingredients rather than fresh cooking.nnWe also saw multiple coffees being delivered to the wrong tables.nnOverall, it's a nice place to visit once to try, but with so many other options available, we wouldn't return based on the food and experience.
