The glyphs are a bit difficult to find they are hidden in a little cavern in the middle of a rocky outcrop of sandstone. The actual location is only about 1km off the road, simple to get to. Once there there is some great viewing! They definitely appear to be genuine. Glad that we found them and got to take some pics.
The glyphs are quite a unique and fun thing to come across on a hike. They are set within a pretty picturesque location with lots of lovely trees, bush and large rock formations that were enjoyable to climb. Finding the glyphs is a little tricky and we were lucky to have a fellow hiker point us in the right direction! Recommend checking these out if you have the chance!
Can be a bit tough finding the glyphs but as you walk off the main walking track head towards the large rock face. As you climb up you'll see warning sign about falling rocks. A bit further to the right of the sign where two large rock slabs come together you may see scrawled arrows pointing down to a low opening. Get down on all fours and crawl through and all will be revealed on both sides of a narrow path between the engraved slabs.
Very relaxing place. Taste of adventure Recommend of day time trip. Because have lot of small road, you will get lost in the night.
It is a challenging search for the drawings. Very difficult to find. It is behind the rock as pointed in red. You will need to climb up some rocks and go behind. It is on the wall in a valley. I am happy that I persevered and found it. Rocks can be slippery when wet. So do wear proper shoes and attire.
Nice bushwalk trail leading through the bush. Can be a bit difficult to find but totally worth it. Amazing tree at the foot of the glyphs. I honestly don't know if they are fake or not, but they seemed legit to me and regardless it was a great trip. Highly recommended!
All closed off unfortunately, due to dangerous rocks.
Nice easy and relaxing walk down a mostly wide firetrail until you detour up the short but steepish goat tracks with some small rock scrambles in the final approach to the hieroglyphs
Great hidden spot! Perfect for a family adventure!
Unfortunately it’s been closed permanently.public doesn’t have access to this site anymore as the sign was indicating, getting to the Glyphs rock is risky and as a result of too many incidents permanently closed to public.
