Goonawarra Golf Club Sunbury is an immaculately presented, Par 72 championship layout course designed by renowned golf course architect Tony Cashmore. A previous host of the Australian Open Regional Qualifying and home of the current North Western Golf Classic, this is a golf course you have to play.

I am frustrated that they took my money so quickly and today got a email from them and said they can't refunds my money back in full straight away because boss on oversea holiday , Why only boss can do it? can't they give another person responsible or authorized a person just in case boss away againto do the same job just to make consumer happy? at the end NOT HAPPY JANE. I will tell all my social group member which is about 65 of them not the go there anymore.
First timer at this course and it was a pleasant experience right off the bat! Friendly locals and the courses are well maintained. The views are also amazing
The course is in great condition. Nice course, not too long and very reasonable green fees. Great views over the Sunbury township.
Sadly the weather has forced some days of closure, they will be back course is in great condition, good teaching pros available.
Nice golf course. Challenging at times with wide open fairways. Great nature surroundings as well. The fencing and general maintenance of the golf course does need some major investment. Hopefully with all the increased housing around the area, we will see an increase in the up-takers of golf in the area and give a much needed boost to club!
Attended a function at this club which was well organised. The finger food was delicious especially the crumbed calamari and prawns. The place has a very pleasant friendly vibe and looking out onto the course it is easily seen based on the number of players in attendance, that this quite a popular course. For the golfer reading this, you're not allowed to take your own golf cart on the course...
Good country style course and not too far from town. Some fairways need a good weeding. Avoid when wet. OK to walk it. Worth a visit.
To many holes in the ground gotta keep the rabbits out
Nice green course. Somewhat easy I would say.. not too many bunkers hardly any water.. but good layout and we'll maintained. Distance markers on the fairways appeared to be a rarity. Staff friendly and helpful, smallish cafe and produce. All in all a good place forms quiet round of golf.
Hired the clubhouse for a Birthday celebration and I was very happy with the catering and serving staff were really good.
