"The Goonawarra Medical Centre was established in 1982 and is situated in the outer metropolitan suburb of Sunbury. Since inception, it has grown to be a multidisciplinary clinic. It is currently under new management/ownership and is undergoing significant changes. We currently have 7 general practitioners and a well established Diabetic Clinic, headed by an Endocrinologist, Diabetic Educator, Dietitian and Podiatrist. Please look at improving your phone system and reception customer service! You charge $67 for appointments now and every single time I call the phone rings for at least 20 -30 mins before answered! Then when you finally go in your receptionists are extremely rude. if you are going to charge for your service you need to provide a quality service. Also cannot book online if you have a health care card, so you must call but what a nightmare everytime you ring.

I have just moved to the area from the UK and was very hesitant about trying this doctors due to other reviews,  however my experience has been 5 star! I contacted them first on a Monday morning 9:00, my call was answered immediately, the receptionist was new, but got me registered and all the information I needed.  The appointment was for my sons first year vaccinations, the appointment was 10 mins late, but I don’t know any doctors which are ever on time, a lot better than the UK waiting times.  I saw a doctor, 2 nurse and 2 student nurses, they were all very professional and did their best to make my sons experiences as nice as possible given the circumstances. I would recommend this medical centre.

If you are looking at attending here for a paediatrician appointment- do not waste your time with Dr Susima Pallemulla. Worst doctor I have ever seen Came across exceptionally arrogant and wasn’t interested in helping with my child who suffers from ADHD My appt was running late through no fault of mine so when it came time to see me Not only did she take a call during - but she rushed us. Very unprofessional- and not helpful. Please reconsider! And don’t waste your time

I used the respiratory part of the clinic and John and the doctor were so friendly. John came straight out and apologised that the doctor was running late. Atleast you had a heads up about it and could go and come back if you wanted Would recommend this service if you live in the sunbury region and it is also opened on Saturdays

When making the appointment for a phone consultation, i should have been advised there would be a fee of $49 charged.  I would have changed the appointment to a week day. You need to communicate that sort of information.

I was in the door only a few minutes past appointment time, the staff were polite and efficient. Overall a very positive experience

Thank you for the respiratory clinic goonawarra medical operate as I have been so unwell but NO drs will see you with flu like symptoms a short wait in the car park the called into a room with a doctor left with antibioticsscript and hopefully feeling better within a couple of days

Visited the respiratory clinic for my 16 week old baby. Both the doctor and the nurse were kind and gave great care and advice.

Goonawarra Medical Centre accomodated my needs as a new patient at a busy time. My issue was managed well and the doctor had a lovely approach

I have been coming here for years. Dr Manjulie is my Dr but I have seen other Drs here as well and they are outstanding at thwir work. Dr Shu mei is a marvoulous Phsyiotheripist.
