Both my children go, and I love the family feel, that the center has, with its low turn over in educators and its high quality care.
Really love the clean, vibrant and colorful environment, with a beautiful outdoor area for the kids. Staff are really friendly and generally show a lot of care of the kids, with key educators implemented to acknowledge the importance of attachment between children and caregivers. Our little one is spirited and needy with allergies known and unknown, and the team have been overwhelmingly helpful in settling our little one and responding to needs. The team have also been great working with us as parents to accommodate days our little one is there. It’s both a wonderful and sad day when you drop your child off and they are happy to leave you to go to one of the staff there, without so much as a glance back.
The staff are amazing; always available to parents and children. My child has thrived going here by making lots of friends, learning valuable skills - educational, emotional and practical - for school. Great outdoor play area and the rooms are changed around a lot so the children are exposed to a variety of activities.
Avoid the kinder room until the bully is removed or appropriately monitored. He bites, punches and bullies and unfortunately it hasn’t been appropriately handled to stop it. Incident forms are absent. The bully still goes although there isn’t adequate support for them. Advice from the educators can be to ‘do what the bully did back’ flush his hat in the loo. Yes Bec and I’ve had a number of conversations about it. I’ve posted the review as over the course of 6mths there wasn’t a resolution found other than us removing our child. It was a situation that saw a number of other children hurt, not only ours. Please don’t make silly suggestions insinuating that we wouldn’t have respectfully tried to find a solution before making a public review.
