I was actually planning on cancelling my membership and reached out to the gym. The club manager, Crystal, gave me a call and we had a really open chat about why I was thinking of leaving and how they could support me to get motivated again.nnWhat I really appreciated was that there was no pressure to stay and just genuine guidance. I had a catch-up with Conor, one of the PTs, and he offered advice, helped me look at my goals, and suggested a program that fit my lifestyle. After two sessions with him I felt the best step for me was to continue on a program, and I’m now 4 weeks into it and really enjoying it.nnSince being back in the gym, I’m feeling motivated, more open in chatting with the club staff, and way less anxious coming in too.nThanks again!
On the 25th of July, I took the 8.15 Yoga class. Melanie, the instructor, was replaced by a different instructor. She made us started the yoga with meditation on the floor when the room was so cold, instead of instructing us with more dynamic movement to warm up our bodies.10 minutes later, half of the class was gone because it was so cold and uncomfortable. I stayed because I felt bad for the lady; her class was almost empty. I wish I had removed myself from the class, too, because on the same night, I caught the flu. The classroom was too cold and the instructor could not adapt to the condition.
I do reformer Pilates at this gym and you can’t beat it for affordability and standard of the classes.’nIt is excellent but it can be hard to get into classes as they only allow you to book 3 at a time.
Had a surgery. Provided medical certificates Was told in writing by email that my account wil be placed on hold free of charge. However, kept receiving emails, phone calls and sms messages that about overdue payments. Send them medical certificates again and asked for cancellation. Still receiving emails, sms about overdue payments. Hopeless.
If I could give a 0 star I would. Absolutely appalling service. Charging fees that were not advised at the start of the contract for services never offered or provided. Crystal has no care to resolve. Stay clear of Goodlife gym!
