Good Shepherd Christian School is a ministry of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. GSCS is an independent co-educational Christian day school, providing Christian education from Pre-Prep to Year 12.

Our school seeks to provide a nurturing environment in which students are prepared for life in the world and eternity with Biblical principles throughout the excellent education in a Christian environment.

At Good Shepherd Christian School, our dedicated Christian staff provide students with Christ-centred schooling in an atmosphere of love, respect, peace and discipline which encourages students to achieve their full potential for God.

Good Shepherd Christian school is an excellent school - has godly, caring teachers and staff who work together as a team to bring strong biblical principles and high morals through their teaching and running of the school. The teachers are committed to investing time in the students and their learning and inspire them to achieve their full potential. It is a very family oriented school and senior students are encouraged to be exemplary role models to the younger ones. I would highly recommend Good Shepherd Christian school.
Good Shepherd is a wonderful Christian school with a genuine desire to give the best education while instilling biblical principles. The kindy teachers are lovely and really care about what they do. The principle has a real heart for the school and establishing great rapport with teachers, parents and more importantly the students. He is very engaged in all that’s happening and has a great vision for the school.
I believe Good Shepherd Christian School is a great and teaches God's truth and also provides very good Academic curriculum. I know all my children's teachers who have invested in my children with a genuine heart. I highly recommend this school to anyone.
I was a student at Good Shepherd from prep to yr 12. I enjoyed the smaller classes as they allowed for more one-on-one time with teachers who got alongside us to help us achieve the best results we could. I graduated 2 years ago and have only good memories of my time at GSCS; the school has prepared me for the outside world and helped shape who I am today.
It is only our first year at Good Shepherd Christian School but what can I say… Our Child’s teachers are fantastic and have a real passion and love for what they do and it has been a joy to see our child grow tremendously in the short time he has been there. The New principal is also a tremendous asset and breath of fresh air.
A great school for little ones. My daughter loves coming here and loves her Kindy teachers. Miss Filmer and Mrs England are brilliant with her and always make her feel welcomed and loved. They have a real heart for each student in the class.
We've had our kids in GSCS for 5 years now and it's been great to witness the transformation over that time. New classrooms, facilities and most recently a new headmaster as well as administrative changes. The standards have certainly been raised in the last year. Zero tolerance for bullying with very clear behaviour standards and a disciplinary process we've observed being swiftly applied are encouraging to see.
A smaller teacher to student ratio is is something I greatly appreciated coming from a small school myself and wanted that experience for my children. Combined was a very strong Christian education GSCS has been exactly what I was looking for.
I have grown up with this school my whole life and I have really enjoyed the learning environment and the people who influence you to do whatever you can to prepare you for the outside world of school. I am very grateful for the opportunities I have been given by the dedication and support of the teachers at this school. I really appreciate them and what they have taught me will stick with me forever.
Difficult school to work with from a parents perspective; over-emphasis on church directed objectives, very little personal care for students - incapable of providing acceptable care for bullied children, more interested in imposing rules and do not understand that making mistakes is an important part of children's growth. Beware of the rule to pay for the next enrolled term regardless of whether your child is going to attend or not - this is part of the school getting government funding by enrolment numbers. Okay for primary school but unless you want your high school children playing the recorder and visiting the fruit market for an 'excursion', move on after grade 6.
