Very sad, today at around 1:40pm I went to order my usual coffee. I ordered through a young Asian girl which she repeated my order and was what I ordered, then the manager that calls everyone baby handed me different order so I politely said “it’s not my order” she lashed out and went within seconds we watched her angrily changing the cup and literally throw it at as.nSad because I always received great service at this place. Very disappointed
First time going, and such a nice little place. Love the original or old school look it has. Had the club sandwich and it was such a good portion and price.nQuick Service. The staff were lovely and they are so aware of their customers.
This is me and my partners regular go to for brunch and daily for coffee. Their Black Matador blend is my favourite. Flavour profile is full bodied, rich smooth and velvety, with an adorable after taste. I'll suggest the smokey sal on the menu. Beautiful scramble, capers and smoked salmon. Comes with a side of avocado. Add the siracha hollandaise, you will not be disappointed
Ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough this morningn2tablspoons of chopped scrambled eggs arrived no butter on toast had to ask for it?? Not nice!! For $20 meal!!!!nMy partner ordered 2 poached eggs THEY WERE HARD And bacon no bacon came ?? Had to ask for it?nThis was a fav place of ours will NOT come back very dissapointing coffee good but get a new chef!!nPaid$40!!! For 2 meals and 1coffee will be going elsewhere from now on
Today I ordered a coffee and bacon and egg roll at Coffee Trader Garbutt but I witnessed a most unfortunate event. As it was early, about 6.40 am, I was waiting in the bay adjacent to where the coffee is made. There was one car behind me and no one else there. There were two large dogs playing with a male person just ahead of my car. The male was wearing a Good Morning Coffee shirt. He wasn’t just patting the dogs, he was all over them, hugging and squeezing them affectionately. Then the Asian lady who walks to the cars with their orders yelled out “Hassan, food”. The guy who had been playing with those dogs was the chef!!nnI don’t know whether he washed his hands before he made my roll because the food preparation area is out of view, but he didn’t take long so I’m assuming the worst.nnI drank the coffee but threw the roll away. Playing with dogs and food preparation don’t go together. I won’t be ordering food from there ever again.
