Hidden gem inside the bowling club. Rice noodle rolls are made fresh, and are value for money.
I had to organize my Dads 80th dinner at a local Chinese Restaurant and came in the morning the day of to check out this bistro which popped up in my online search results. I spoke with Tim whom was very friendly, easy going and accommodating. We decided to come back that night for our dinner celebration. Located in the Padstow Bowling Club, it was easy to park via Stephanie St in the club parking. My Mum is disabled and the walk and ramp were perfect. Tim and family were very attentive to our party of 11. We ordered a lot of dishes. I like the fact that they serve some yum cha dishes as well as regular Cantonese dishes. All the dishes were very good. My favorite was the Chinese Broccoli which was cooked perfectly. The Mongolian Beef was also popular. I would say that the Fried Rice was the only dish that lacked flavor. The club was also pretty quiet which was good. The bar staff were also friendly. I highly recommend a visit. There was no need to sign in.
