I live in India and am on a holiday in Melbourne. Stopped at the Golden Sky restaurant in Colac on our way back to Melbourne from the 12 Apostles.nThe food quality, portions, ambience, service quality and warmth of the hosts here, all are excellent. Superb food and one should definitely plan a stop in Colac for a meal here. A big shout out to Raman Ji and Simer ji for excellent service. Brilliant surprise in a small town of Colac.
Friendly service! Food came out fast, was tasty and generous portions. We had Chicken Madras and Malai Kofta curries today with saffron rice and plain naan. This is my 2nd time and we will definitely return again soon. A must try in Colac. Thanks so much for serving us!
Great food and very kind service. We accidentally stopped there on our way back from Great Ocean Road trip to Melbourne. It was a lot better than our expectation with authentic Indian food.
The food was wonderful and customer service was amazing. The guy who seemed to be the owner was super sweet and attentive.nI really recommend the butter chicken and mango lassi. Naan, roti, and saffron rice were all great foundations for the curries.
We stopped for lunch on the journey from Port Campbell back to Melbourne. A moderately good meal would have made us happy, but what we were served was excellent and beyond our expectations. We shared Eggplant Masala, Chicken Biryani best I've had anywhere and Butter Roti. Everything was fresh, well-spiced and incredibly tasty. Service was prompt, professional and friendly. Very worthy of a detour if you're even vaguely near Colac.
