I have had some really bad food before. But this takes the cake. Not only did we have to wait 50 minutes for the order in the store. It was expencive and I have eaten better food at my nans retirement home. Absolutly foul. Would not reccomend to anyone. We did not eat this, it tasted bland as water and unevenly cooked. Was a waste of nearly $40
We arrived at 6pm and got seated with menus - ordered and got drinks. 20 minutes later we got our entrees which were nice but to be sitting there over an hour after entrees eaten, when people ordering dine in and take away orders after us were getting their meals in a timely manner is a bit rude and makes for a disappointing birthday dinner! If we had of been told we would have over an hour to an hour and a half wait we might of reconsidered our dinner choice. We left very hungry at 745! I used to really enjoy this restaurant with my family, but never again
We went to Golden Horse and I gotta say, I’m bloody ripper impressed. Food was AMAZING. Service was a bit to be desired for but eh, no high expectations at a local Chinese. Can’t state enough, food was amazing. Super pricey for Chinese food to be fair but faaaark well worth it!!! 10/10, would recommend. And I am a super fussy person when I’m paying a high quid for food
I have been a Loyal customer for 20 years the chef will not change order for allergy of nuts as well they wanted to charge us extra on top of the meal we can’t eat for an extra dish I am not ever going back there again! It is not the waiters fault. Food: 1/5
Go there a bit. Always good. Girls are polite. Can be a bit slow a times but that is because of the high demand for there food. But you'll always get a good feed. Parking: Plenty of on site parking. Also parking at the front and the side.
Unhappy customer - ordered 3 main meals and 3 entrees takeaway, drove 25min to get this chinese due to the reviews. When i got home there were no sauce for the entrees and no cashews in the chicken and cashew dish. The man chef said you need to pay extra for the sauce and to come back down for double cashews. When i explained the 45min round trip, id be happy with a $10 credit or free $6 entree, he said why should i? Cashews are only $2. The man was rude, dosent care for repeat buisness and told me to freeze my meal and bring it back tommorow for a credit. Shame for you golden horse, iv just moved to the area and would have been a regular customer - giving you more than a $6 entree i requested. Sweet n Sour pork was 3/5 chicken n cashew 2/5 its all carrots and celery, wontons and spring roll average.
Booked a table and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated even though the table was free. Horrific table service, over priced for ordinary food, they accidentally gave us someone else’s rice and even though our child was in the middle of eating it they snatched it away without even offering us to keep it and pay for it, Strangely enough a bowl of rice was out less than 1 minute later on another table we most definitely will not be back
Honey chicken was tough and all batter no chicken. Flavourless meal and tough rubbish. Dim sim was ok. after trying them a few times for a fair go they are rubbish! If this is what it is paid for dog food then so be it! But don't serve food up that's inediblevto humans!
Great service top quality food other customers need to learn some patience they are very busy and the food is great worth the wait.
Wife told about this place and food was excellent as well as the service can understand why it takes a while for takeout so we dined in. Will be back to try banquet deals with others as it was only 2 of us this night. Staff were excellent with service
