I went to the Indian restaurant with some friends for my birthday. I usually have their paradise chicken but I was brave and tried the Dahl Maharani. Oh wow it was truly delicious! We all had a lovely evening and enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

I have been to the Golden Elephant twice now & have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent & the service was 1st class. Our waitress Amy couldn't do enough for us, congrats on finding such a conscientious worker. We will definitely be return customers. Doug.Food: 5/5

Hoped to eat at the Restaurant here today for lunch, however Website times are not correct.  We ended up grabbing takeaway and eating in the side area.  Two dishes were very good, the Samosa's and the Chicken dish.  Rice and Vegetarian dishes were nothing special.  We did need a bag to repack our leftovers and it seemed to be too much for the staff to cope with.  This was a simple request after spending more than $90.  In the end we recycled the bag we had.

Loved the food the chips were amazing great seasoning and good size. Prices were fair, would love to try the Indian food next time I'm in Berri.Food: 5/5

Visited this restaurant years ago and was keen to see if it still was in operation. Not disappointed. Will be ordering on the way home to SA. The kebab store next door pumps all day and night. Owned/run by the same people. Well worth the stop off.  Vegetarian options: Paneer is my favourite in any sauce combination.   Parking: Ample parking on premises

Best customer service we had. Store is about to close but still they waited for us and made indi chicken tikka pizza. People are really kind, I felt special. They treat everyone customer feels very special. Love to come back again

We had butter chicken and it was delicious it was lunch and the restaurant was not seating people inside. So we ate under the outdoor area was quite nice. Would recommend itFood: 4/5

The Golden Elephant is one of the most popular take away places in the whole area, gets very busy some times with good food, even fish and chips.  Parking: they have their own car park area right next to the take away window that&#39;s very handy
