Had a very bad experience at this place. I’ve ordered duck and rice. I got something barely reminding duck meat and crunchy dry rice. It was some kind of hard dry meat covered in flour. I couldn't eat it. but the price had to be paid. Very disappointed with my dinner. Avoid this place I do not believe those who give 5 stars to this place. disgusting
My partner and I ate at this restaurant last night. One of our favourite Chinese dishes is Deep Fried Duck with Plum Sauce. We ordered this and what we got was a plateful of dried up fatty balls which were virtually inedible and we couldn’t taste the duck – if it contained any. We advised the waiter of this after our meal but he just shrugged and walked away. We also had the Char Kway Teow, which was OK though nothing special. For entrées we had Chicken Satay Sticks. The sauce was tasty but the chicken was very tough. We also had Curry Puffs, which were the only really tasty items on our order. This restaurant could easily be good but it will need the staff to listen to the customer’s comments and dump the dishes they are advised are no good. Others have made similar comments about the Deep Fried Duck but unfortunately we didn’t read the reviews until after we had wasted our money eating here. When we paid the bill the staff never bothered to ask us how everything is so I imagine they will continue to serve up some disgusting dishes until they decide to listen to the customers.
So disappointed with the last couple of purchases. Used to be good Chinese but has been terrible of late very watery sauces some dishes nothing but onion. Stuffing up orders and not putting dishes in even though paid for not even giving you prawn crackers when you go back to run them up. And sure not being charged right. Very disappointing with be going else where for a while again at least
This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I’ve been to a lot over the years. Love the meals and the service. Justin is great. Highly recommended. Good for takeaways too. They take Qoin as payment if you like cryptocurrency. Worth a visit.
I am basing this review on the takeaway fried icecream I ordered. Of the forgettable number of Chinese restaurants I've ordered from, this is the only Chinese restaurant that gave me fried icecream which included orange zest in the batter! Soooooo delicious and frankly, unexpected. Just lovely!
Every time I go to Collie we visit the Golden Eagle. The food is good,no complaints what so ever.I’ll be there on the 5th of January.Thank you! Gibbo.
Called them and asked for delivery was asked if I could go through menu log instead. I said no. I think that's bad customer service. You could say sure, did you know you can order from our restaurant from menulog, it'll save you time in the future. Made a mistake on my order delivered wrong dish. No free prawn crackers for over $60 order. Free prawn crackers are a big thing for some, even if the bags are smaller. Food tasted good and was good quality.
The good we got was terrible, we didn't receive everything we ordered. The person that served us was quite rude. Won't be going backFood: 1/5
Had takeaway from Golden Eagle tonight and it was not that good especially what was supposed to be honey chicken, I’m not kidding here we could not find any chicken it was all that breading stuff. We literally pulled it all apart and could not find any chicken at all! We paid good money for chicken not breading! We will never buy there again!
Stpped in on our way to Margaret river and stayed at the tourist park in town The last place we phoned was this one as all the others could not deliver. If your starving don't waste your money. Satey sticks were made of tough bits of so called chicken which were thrown away. The special fried rice followed to the bin. Dark yellow special fried rice with a hint of curry?, not special at all. Sizzling fillet and vegetables were slightly edible. Save your money and get Dominoes.
