Where do I begin? This park is run down. There were dirty pans in the cupboards, the owner was rude and asked our party to turn off lights in our villas, and seemed to be lurking around watching us. We paid for 5 people to stay, yet had to supply sheets and doonas and towels for the children, so we weren't charged extra. The stove didn't work properly. There were no power points next to the bed for charging.
I stayed in a cabin with a double bed and four bunk beds and there is no door to seperate the two rooms, just a curtain that doesn’t even reach the floor, so not much privacy. The shower and bath taps make a loud noise whenever turned on. The TV says it’s connected to the WiFi, but when we clicked the Netflix button on the remote, it wouldn’t work and say disconnected. The pool was filthy and full of leaves and dead bugs. The surrounding brick tiles were loose and could’ve easily slipped someone over. There was soap leftover on the floor and in the sink and there was ants everywhere in our cabin. Soooo overpriced for them to not even set up our beds. There were holes in walls and on doors and our bathroom door didn’t even close properly kept opening on it’s own. The only decent thing about our cabin was the shampoo they provided in the shower. It made my hair look and feel really good.
once again, Terri and Dirk have been wonderful. The cabins were clean, tidy and warm! the park is quiet and great for the kids.
The cabin was so dirty and full of cobwebs and spiders.nThe people whose runs the caravan park are so rude and arrogant, not helpful at all!nI had to move out to an another caravan park in town, beside the lake and that was far better experience, the cabin was much more cleaner and the staff much nicer!
Very racist staff over the phone. My friend was to book a reservation under my name and was met with an attitude whispering “they sound black” to someone in the background and was acting like she was going to steal something. Then when she gave her the card details and my name, which was the name under the card she stated “that’s not your name” like she was some scammer, how are you going to assume that about a stranger? Not only that but the lady also said to my friend “you sound a bit unsure about coming here.” Would we be giving you my card details if we were unsure? Please get a grip. My friend claims that it sounded like an elderly white lady. Please save yourself the money and do not go here if you are anything other than white as that seems to be the only demographic they are comfortable with.
