Came here on a packed Thursday evening and people kept arriving after 9pm. Most tables around us went for Sizzling Mongolian and fried rice. BYO wine corkage $2 pp or bring cans/bottled beer and don't have to pay corkage. Vintage Cellars right next door if you need a top up. Really good prices for the quality and quantity of food - start and finish with dumplings, they're made fresh in house. Recommend Peking Duck Pancakes, wontons in hot chilli oil and Shanghai Steamed Pork Dumpling.

Ate for lunch in this restaurant, really fresh and good food.  I ate the steamed Dim Sim and the Steam Shangai Pork Bun made at the moment, I highly recommend it

Good place to crave for some Chinese flavours, especially the steam Shanghai pork buns Siao Long Bao so juicy n very decent size much bigger than Ding Tai Fung and its only 11.8. It actually becomes my daily ritual vacationing at Terrigal. I

Excellent food, very fast service, nicely placed, large menu variety and reasonable pricing. We ordered pork dumplings, fried rice and salt & pepper squid. Would certainly go there again on my next Terrigal visit, A+ from me.

I got some take-away and ordered vegetarian items, but when I got home and tried one of the vegetarian dumplings I was horrified to find out it was pork.  disgusting.  then my partner found a sharp shard of bamboo in his dish.  I noticed they were rushing when they took my order and must have rushed cooking the meal also.  when I rang she was very abrupt and said I needed to bring the pork dish back, and seemed quite cold and irritated that I even rang, gave no apology, but I decided I don't want to eat their food with this attitude.  lost a customer.

Delicious authentic Chinese food! The dumplings are amazing but everything on the menu is delicious. Myself and my family are regulars, really great service, staff are more than accommodating. Definitely recommend it!

This place was horrible. The dumplings were average, but it was the the service and out of date condiments on the tables that were beyond disgusting. We were brought out extra food and told the staff immediately that we didn’t order it and she started raising her voice and saying the name of the food.  We continued to tell her we didn’t order it but she just kept raising her voice and talking over us like we were stupid......instead of what she should have done which was apologise and take it back. Never returning.

Asian food on the central coast is so hit and miss. Until Now. This place serves awesome quality food at a very reasonable price, but thats not all. They do fantastic Dumplings too. Well I found my new favourite restaurant. Oniy small negative is you have to order and pay at the front counter then take a seat and get food brought over. But staff are friendly accomodating and have good communication skills. This place will not disappoint. You may get addicted

Being a Chinese Sydney sider, I find Chinese in regional places a bit variable. Happy to say that this place exceeded expectations. The fried rice was flavoursome and had lots of chunky goodies and the dumpling skins were thin with big fillings. Would come back if I visit Terrigal again.

This is the second time we have been here the food is nice but the staff are so rude. My 9 yr old daughter had the wonton and vegetable soup half way through eating the soup she found a worm in it. It was obviously from the green vegetables but this put her off eating it. I took it back to the kitchen to descretly ask for a new dish as she hadn't eaten any  dumplings. The lady was so rude and kept saying it was a vegetable she made such a fuss and never once apologised. I finally got my money back and went to 999 thai and had spring rolls which were delicious but most important the ladies there were very nice.  The food at golden city dumpling is not good enough to put up with extremely rude service.
