I’ve cancelled my contract after a year as I just couldn’t stand how it was getting worse. I provided my feedback during my time and at the end but I know they aren’t interested they removed the feedback box years ago. I’d tried to ask for some basic hygiene with the outdoor bootcamp area covered in bird poop and we are on the ground doing push ups in it. I fixed the whiteboard with electrical tape Dec 23 and it’s still broken. I was considering applying new tape but what’s the point? It’s basic equipment but the trainers need it!nI raised safety concerns inside the gym and out in the carpark. The overall vibe of the gym shifted when we lost a great trainer at Easter but I’ve stayed hoping things would pick up again. I really regretted my contract but I never leave a gym after a year.nnPros- good equipment, some great classes. Cons- cleanliness, security, management. I can’t stress about the management and how much it impacted me not wanting to be there. I feel sorry for the staff though as it’s not their fault.nnJust do some research before you sign up. Cause it’s $250 to break contract but I’m loving the new gym so well worth it.
After 12 months at this location I feel I can give an honest review, a good mid sized gym, all the dumbbells up to ludicrous size for those that need them you know who you are, and there are mirrors for you as wellnnDecent squat racks and a healthy range of machines/benches covering all the needed exercise areas back legs arms etcnnWell kept and clean, staff regular wander out to put weights back in their PROPER place put your weights back people, it's not hardnnSanitizer wipe stations are well stocked one is cracked but they keep it stocked with wipes so we don't care nnToilets & showers are clean and functional, never had a single problem with them to the guy who dumps half his body weight doing number 2's blocking the bog , see a doctor or change your diet dudennParking is underneath/beside the gym & free, mon to fri mornings and afternoons can be busy but seeing as its beside shopping center there is plenty of parking note, there is a My Car service center beside the gym as wellnnCustomers range from 15 year old school kids to old crusty Military like myself to moms to muscle heads, I have never seen any problems or friction between different groups, from the cardio to the bulkers no one has been rude or difficult.nnOh there is a child creche for your little monsters if you have been cursed with one I have thankfully dodged that bulletnnStaff are friendly and approachable, there are instructors if you need one and they have an excellent technique with those who are obviously there for the first time ever and nervous as hell I watch from the sidelinesnnThis Gym offers a pleasant atmosphere, and I can recommend it fully.
Golds Gym Toowoomba has the most friendly and helpful staff and always down for a chat.nnThere smoothies are amazing and coffees even better.nnHighly recommend to anyone looking to train at a commercial gym.

i think toowoomba’s no 1 gym is Gold Gym. staff and atmosphere are so good every one is friendly there. staff are very helpful and they are very sweet
