Was disappointed with the pizza. Too cheesy and the ingredients didn't match the menu. Our gourmet seafood pizza was supposed to have king prawns, mixed seafood and garlic. Lacked king prawns we were served small shrimps mostly under 1cm in size, and couldn't taste the garlic. It didn't match it's "gourmet" description/category. It was average. The chorizo pizza again wasn't gourmet and just average. The super special wasn't super. Don't expect a gourmet pizza experience. The marketing was good walking in, but the food didn't measure up to the restaurant name "Godfather's'. It also felt like it took a while to receive the food even though we were the only customers at the time.
I like eating Godfather pizzas. They got some good pizza deal. If you are going to drive past Preston give these guys a try get a takeaway pizza. Their margarita and BBQ chicken pizza is my favourite.
I was her at 6:35 i chose grilled salmon but she told us the chef can’t cook the rice that take 20m then i order smash potatoes also he doesn’t make it!!! At the end i have this dish with out salad but the same price!! It was bad dinner with the lazy chef and boring stuff . However, that happened without apology!!!!
Pizzas aren't good. We ordered a smoked salmon and literally received this. Very disappointing
This place is a joke! ZERO STARS! Save yourself and do not eat at this so called restaurant. We were booked in for a group of 40 for a function. The waiter noted everyone’s order for main meals on a scrap piece of paper. Which 50% of were incorrect. Most of meals arrived 1.5 hours later and tasted below average. The guests were not impressed with the lack of service and bland food. To top off this bad experience the manager charged us for the incorrect meals that were sent out initially. How is this customer service? Why are these owners in the restaurant business when they have zero understanding of what it takes to run a business?
Unfortunately the new owners don’t seem to know how to run a restaurant. We used to love coming here but we won’t come again. They seem nice but aren’t very attentive, the floor was dirty with chips on it probably from the night before as we were there for lunch and it was pretty much empty, meals come out at different times and a significant time difference so people either eat separately or have cold meals. Food is served badly burnt and overcooked, salad is just lettuce and a slice of tomato, the ice in our jug of soft drink looked like it had been hacked from the back of the freezer, it was one big hunk. We ended up leaving and paying the full bill despite getting inedible food that should not have been served and not getting everything we ordered. We did give feedback at the time but no discount was offered. The pizza was nice but not nice enough to save our experience and want us to come back. What a shame.
Do not, I repeat do not have a group booking with this place. I booked a party for 31 gusts four days in advance. On the day of the function there was only one chef and one waiter on duty. 14 guests got their main meal and the other 17 did not, they waited three and a half hours and left with no meal. A 92 year old man waited three and a half hours for his gnocchi. I and other guests complained to the chef, but to no avail. When I went to pay the bill they charged me full price for everyone including for the ones who did not get a main meal. They originally discounted the bill by $50 what a joke I eventually got it down by an other $200, still way to little. I have sent a registered letter for the owner to contact me and when he did, he said that he would find out what happened and get back to me but he refuses to do so after a number of texts. The original review was taken off the web and thus I will continue to post a review till I get satisfaction. Minus 10 stars
I recently went to this restaurant with my family. We were extremely pleased with the service. The staff were very friendly and professional. The place was also very well kept and extremely clean. There were just a few people other than us but understandable considering it has just opened. We ordered 2x gourmet pizzas and a lasagna and these were all delicious. Would highly recommend!
Probably ignore the below... Owners have changed. I would use more recent reviews to decide. Dine in or takeaway the food is great. Pizzas never seem to disappoint. The menu has a big selection which can be a worry but they seem to do everything on there well. Nice atmosphere for a family dinner or catch up with friends. Happy to have Godfather's as my local pizza place. Ignore the above... Owners have changed. I would use more recent reviews to decide.
Good quality and quantity. Nice ambience. I haven't seen such a huge pizza shop in the city so far. I went with a group of friends two days back and we had so much fun. it's quite spacious. I recommend to try kebab pizza and vegetarian pasta. they customise meals according to your needs which is commendable.
