A very welcoming restaurant/bistro. As soon we I entered I was greeted by friendly staff who were very attentive. The venue itself is very spacious offering many tables indoor and outdoors. There is a great vibe about this place and I would highly recommend group dining here to make the most of the share platter menu items. We got the ribeye steak 7.1/10 Linguine Seafood pasta 4.5/10 for me…. The rocket and capsicum just didn’t go well with the dish. The share platter included corn cobs 7.4/10, chicken wings 7.8/10 and garlic butter prawns 6/10. The food isn’t the best but the atmosphere makes up for it.
Goat house is definitely one of our favourite places for family occasions. There is always a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The food quality is consistent, and we cannot recommend more about the prawns and garlic bread. Cannot wait to revisit them next time for brunch.
Happy hour is from 2:30pm to 5:30pm and I’m here on a Tuesday night. What a gorgeous spot to visit after the cinema. Having a Mulled Wine in Winter- full of cinnamon sticks, orange, Star Anise & a crunchy Apple slither. . The fruity Red Warm wine is a must to try. Gradually sipping, it will warm your Winter throat & take away any Winter ‘Tickle’. Open fire place inside, and Beer battered Chips for a nibble. Would definitely come back again to try other options.
Amazing restaurant that serves delicious food. I celebrated Christmad dinner with colleagues here few days ago and ordered a Lamb Salad. It was delish, the pumpkin puree was delicious and it came in a big portion to me. The restaurant is not too big, and there is an indoor and outdoor seating area. What's best about this place is the location that is just right next to the station and tram stop. Very convenient. The staffs were very helpful, well trained, and work efficiently. Overall, I really enjoyed eating here. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vefetarian and vegan menu options. Kid-friendliness: Suitable for family with young kids. Parking: Lots of street parkinf however can be difficult to find at certain time. Wheelchair accessibility: Level access entrance, can be a bit squeeze at indoor. Dietary restrictions: Some menu contain nuts and it is outlined in the menu description.
Extremely attentive service. We were always being asked if we wanted more drinks or food. Good food had a great chicken burger. Decent beer selection. Great atmosphere pretty loud in there!. Overall a great night. Couldn't fault anything.
Fell in love with the place from the first visit and now I’m part of the furniture. Everything from the staff, food, atmosphere and ice cold beer is unmatched in the area. I’ve been made to feel more than welcome every time I visit. I recommend everyone to come for a visit to the Goat House.
Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Overall the food is good, decent taste and good portion size, however the brunch is definitely on the pricier side $32 for vege breakfast with 2 scrambled eggs. From my perspective, nothing amazing or special to justify the extra price. The service was pretty average, a lot of staff standing around or watching however we had to walk up to them to ask for menus and took a long time for them to come over for us to order food. Also appeared to have a slight attitude, but understand not everyone is as bubbly as others. Venue is in a great location and on a nice sunny day, definitely a good place to visit. Just felt there are better restaurants/cafes in the area with better pricing and service.

The food was delicious, the ambience was pleasant and the service was friendly! We sat indoors and by the window, which gave us a nice view of the courtyard. They have an extensive drinks menu, as well as a huge variety of food. Overall, it was a good experience, chilled vibes and a great place to be on a sunny summer afternoon. Thursday nights are their Irish nights, which means they have live music

The food was fabulous. The location great, but like everyone else, the service is just appalling. No "hello", no "thank you" no warmth, just angry staff everywhere and absolutely none of them smiling. If the comments about the owner are anything to go by then it probably explains why the staff are so terrible.
