Awesome campground, Mountain River frontage cold & clear, plenty of walks available with abundant wildlife & fauna. National Park so what goes in must come out.
If it rains, fantastic frogs. But be beware, the six fords were 25cm on way in, 47cm on way out! That's seriously deep
We had a great weekend. Hopefully we'll be back soon and able to stay a bit longer!
Nice campground , about 7 flat camp spots. Great walks at Gloucester tops, at the Beech forest walk take the long walk, beautiful waterfall at the bottom end
Camp Fees are double other places and it’s not clear why?? :- The drive from Barrington Tops is spectacular and the drive up the mountain is great except we experienced cloud from the lookout on the day. They have also blocked the track to the river :- I would recommend a day trip vs staying overnight.
Great place tidy toilets & bbq areas, very relaxing place to set up camp & enjoy peaceful scenery
Loved this place was a few people camping will have to go back one day again.
Gondwana flora - one of the greatest places to feel like a Triceratops is gonna come out of the bush.
A lovely spot to enjoy the bush.
Nice spot next to the river, big open site makes it suitable for groups. As we were just two people camping, $24/night seemed a little expensive especially with no water available
