It's a bit weird that Service Tasmania is now also based within the library but I guess if it works for them, it's alright. The seating and couches are nice for long waiting periods. And can read a book or browse while you wait too.
Small library, clean and tidy and limited off street parking. Staff seem to be helpful but no really knowledgable.nnThe library is located opposite to shopping centre and close to other amenities.

This must be one of the best libraries in the world. This is not because there are a lot of books but because of the great systems, facilities, and staff.nOn top of all that the ambiance is conducive to research and learning or simple, quiet recreational reading. Our state library system makes learning for free available to us all. Even if someone cannot read help can be provided to overcome this drawback.
