This is one of the busier pharmacies located conveniently on Glenfield Road. All prescription and over the counter drugs are easily available. The staff is very nice and helpful. Also, this is the only pharmacy in the area which accepts unused non-expired medicines which are then donated to charity worldwide. The location is easily accessible however parking can be a bit tough due to busy Glenfield road. It is suggested to visit here after parking the car in the Glenfield mall car park in the back side. Well recommended.
I always went to this 7 day pharmacy because I wanted to support a fellow Cambodian business but I swear to god, one of the female pharmacists seriously needs to change her attitude. I don’t know if she’s mean to everyone but I can’t stand the way she talks to me, my family or to other people sometimes. Anyways, aside from that, keep up the good work, guys.
I usually go to Chemist Warehouse but could not make it before they closed at 7pm on Wednesday last week. My son suffered from an ear infection and got to see the doctor after hours so getting his medicine could not wait until the next day. I walked into this pharmacy and asked the pharmacist on duty how much they would surcharge for preparing the prescribed medicines. I explained that I usually go to Chemist Warehouse who charge nothing. His attitude turned negative right there and said that he could not tell me how much it would be until he had finished the job. Lie! He then said the charge is not a surcharge, it is tax. I believe this was another lie! The amount I had to pay surcharge? / tax? came to $25 as he charged $5 per item, even the painkillers. He could have told me $5 per item when I asked but he chose not to. When I questioned this, he became rude and told me to leave the medicine there and go to Chemist Warehouse as they close at 9pm and not 7pm as I had thought. He said it only took him a couple of minutes to prepare the script and it would take him less to put it all back. I left, only to find he had lied to me once again. My poor son was waiting outside in the car in the cold so I swallowed my pride and went back, paid the $25 and got the hell out of there. To add insult to injury, they did not even have the 6th item prescribed by the doctor a nasal spray! in stock and we had to go to another late night pharmacy to get that. Pathetic! This pharmacy will NEVER see me again. Chemist Warehouse is probably killing their business and that’s why the pharmacist is so rude but that’s exactly what should happen to bullying rip off artists like this guy.
Twice they have told me they had not received my prescription while it was actually there they just hadn't looked thoroughly through their emails. They had all the details they needed to find it. This caused me to waste time while waiting for them to gather my prescription only to tell me they hadn't received it and have to return later for it. I'd then call my medical centre to get confirmation that the prescription was sent, which it was, and calling the pharmacy to find out that they had in fact received the prescription earlier. Bloody useless pharmacists. I also received my second vaccine for Covid and the person who administered the vaccine did a very poor job and bruised my arm intensely. The only reason it is not a 1 star is because of the lovely receptionist who also answers they phone who's great at her role. It's a shame the rest of the staff can't work to her standard.
Hands down the best pharmacy I have ever used, and I have used many! I use the methadone service and have always been treated with nothing but respect! Helpful, professional, welcoming service, and many times, staff have taken on tasks ‘over and above’ to ensure smooth running of my many prescriptions! I cannot thank them enough!!! You run a great team Virak!!
Fantastic and kind service, kudos especially to Thursday night staff! The brown haired woman and guy with the glasses are super lovely. Thought I'd leave a good review for generally great service! Plus the hours of this place are really good. You can top up your hop card here too. If chemist warehouse is closed, this is a great option. Also very fast.
Glenfield 7 Day Pharmacy - the caring ones with excellent opening hours and always well stocked. I much prefer coming here and supporting locally-owned business above the new, big kid in town. Keep up the good work guys.
The old lady with short hair is so rude! Doesn’t even know how to serve the customers right or speak politely bruh
I'm so disgusted byone particular worker there, older lady short hair. I had called and queried about using a card. When I got there I checked with the lady who was not helpful at all by not answering, I asked again and she was so dismissive towards me. New Zealand is popular for bullying people weither it be the customer or the work place...surely pharmacy staff know they deal with fragile people. Not her, she was so rude laughed in my face.. considering mental health today this is by far the most disgusting experience ever.
The staff here go out of their way to be helpful! This is the only pharmacy I will ever use as every time i go no matter who I speak to they are always helpful. Highly recommend!
