Love the design and that it hasn’t changed trains are consistent to going there even on weekdays Also has a customer service area still and pay phone if need be, Toilets particularly the mens one is dirty and clogged, multiple layers of paint painted over graffiti, You can’t hear the announcements from facing toward going out of the city
It's a small station with old and yellow red break's and long walking distance for entrance. It's well lighting and PO officers in evening look after people welfare and safety of vulnerable people
Staffs are helpful. Like many other stations, quite dated and should have a face lift.
Actually one of the most charming station precincts in Melbourne. The entry to the station goes does two little alleys which have some delightful cafes and out-of-the-way shops. I give it five stars for this. Glenferrie Road as a whole struggles a bit to provide anything interesting; the station is a saving grace.
Always a mixed reception when I arrive, station is great but the crowds can be loud and rowdy.
Glenferrie station is a relatively large station, consisting of three platforms all with undercover areas and seating. All three platforms can be accessed by wheelchair. There is a large help desk for anyone needing assistance and two myki machines.
Features two full size MetCard payment machines, Met staff booth open during the day and later, toilets, vending machines, bike racks on platform. Only one small LED display for next arriving per platform. Voice over speakers are difficult to hear, even at the best of times. Serving Belgrave, Lilydale and Alemain. Many express trains skip this station.
Great coffee and ambience.
Rotunda is nice, kept me dry, 4/5 would recommend to a friend. Not as smelly as Spud Bar.
This station has a toilet! And it wasn't locked when I got there!
