After attending the school myself many years ago, I was excited to send my kids there and it has not disappointed.nI couldn't imagine my children receiving a better education anywhere else including at a private school.nThe staff from the teachers, to the office staff, to the grounds keepers and to the canteen staff are all wonderfully positive and lovely people. Can highly recommend.
Amazing school with wonderful leadership. Really embrace the community spirit.nTeachers and staff are always so friendly and helpful and constantly make themselves available for you. Would absolutely recommend for anyone in the area and surrounds.
Miss Glenelg primary already, this school has some of the kindest teachers, everyone puts in so much effort to make this an incredibly enjoyable experience, the school also makes sure everyone feels included and not left out, - they pay equal attention to everybody. I have children in Reception and Year 3 at Glenelg Primary and our family is very happy at the school. I would recommend this school to any family looking for a safe, inclusive community for their children to learn in. I rate Glenelg Primary School 5 stars based on the following;nnThe teachers and staff are competent, dedicated, kind and accessible. We have yet to encounter a teacher we aren't happy with and there is never any problem getting in touch with a teacher. In their short time so far at GPS my children have met teachers that they will simply never forget. As a parent, teachers, staff and leadership at GPS give you the sense that you are not alone on your journey to raise well-rounded young people. Teachers genuinely delight in the children, celebrate their successes and walk along side them in their challenges.nnGPS has boundless opportunities for students, from after-school sports to lunch-time hobby and language clubs and performing arts opportunities such as choir. Students enjoy excursions and enrichment activities such as water/surf safety sessions, trips to local places of interest and visiting performers.nnThere are ample opportunities for parental involvement at the school such as volunteering in the classroom or on excursions. Throughout the year there are opportunities to formally meet with teachers, view the learning spaces and see what the students have been learning.nnThis school knows how to have fun! The school community is treated to all manner of enjoyable events such as sports day, a school disco, annual fete and celebrate occasions such as Harmony Day and Book Week with gusto.nnGPS invests in continuous improvement. Impressive works have been undertaken on the school grounds recently. The school has beautiful up-to-date resources for the kids to use and is proactive and responsive to the changing landscape of primary school curriculum, technology, student well being and safety.nnI urge anyone tasked with making a decision about their child's primary schooling to consider Glenelg Primary. My Son has spent 3 great years at Glenelg Primary. The teachers helped my son catch up and bring him up to speed with his education. My experience with the teachers was second to none. They were direct and caring and we just wish they had a high school..As a parent I would recommend this school if you are lucky enough to be in the zone or have a opportunity. Thank you Matt Rose, Jason Rose and Kelly Rivett I hope your principal knows how good you all are.
