There's no words to describe this pub! Its a pub that you really feel at home. They're all so welcoming, amazing food, colds beers, and just an absolute magnificent atmosphere. There's no pub I'd rather go to! Local or 6 hours away from home, it's worth the drive. 10/5 stars! Absolute brilliant pub!
One of the best feeds between south Australia and Newcastle. Fantastic bar staff, and food staff. Felt just like home! The owners have really made this place something specialRooms: 5/5
Tried to get a room here, but got no response until after my stay in Casterton. Some friends did get a room here and after sharing their sleepless experience with me, I am very glad now that I didn't succeed in booking here, much too noisy...fine if you're deaf though I suppose. So instead of here, I stayed up the road a bit at the "Casterton residence." A clean well presented single room unit with a very comfortable double bed, also has a lovely big hot shower in the ensuite. Kettle, with cups and tea n coffee a toaster with cutlery, plates and bowls Also a fridge and microwave supplied for your use. They also have other units available too. Just google it. Rooms: Very small. Walkability: Close to everything, but its a small town
Stayed a week Great accommodation. Cold Beers. Awesome food and big servings . ALL THE STAFF were very welcoming and friendly locals . No better country pub to be seen . Dean you are a star behind the barRooms: 5/5
What an absolute gem!! While doing some work in Casterton the guys from the Glenelg Inn looked after us like family. The food was fantastic every night especially Wednesday Parmi night and the beer was nice and cold! The owners and staff made a work trip feel like a holiday. Can’t recommend this pub highly enough!! Can’t wait to go back and see them all again! 10/10!!!
Was there with my friends Dean and Alex a couple of weeks ago. Everything was perfect, lovely food, great hospitality from the owners and staff. What a great place to go, highly recommended Rooms: 5/5
Very disappointed. Meals used to be lovely but that is no longer the case. No flair or imagination. Basic below average food.
Ok this place as also rooms. But I haven't been. I just dropped in for a beer Also I had dinner here, I have travelled around Victoria with work This place brings me back. the bar keeper knowing everyone names and drinks services excellent friendly original no BS tonight I had steak scotch Fillet let me tell you one of the best perfectly cooked Wow I will be back I have enjoyed this night, taking about turning the clock back, just perfect my compliments to the chef ‍ And stuff so simple and yet delicious meal. Thank you so much for a wonderful welcome and food.
