Glen Waverley Station is clean and well maintained. It is conveniently located near the main bus stop, shopping areas, and many restaurants. The station also has a window counter for PTV card recharge, which is very helpful. Overall, it is a convenient and easy-to-use station for daily commuters.
Now that majority of construction work has been completed its no longer a struggle to find a park near by as well as access the station.nnSafe at night, P.S.O's patrol the station.
It is a large station, has bathrooms, plenty of shade, good accommodation and the buses are very close.
Very limited parking and ambiguous parking signs at drop off point. Was fined 3 times in one week for dropping off a passenger at the drop off area, as I was apparently ‘stopped outside of the designated zone’, even though the drop off zone area was full. Incurred $612 in total fines in the same week, which I received after I even knew I wasn’t permitted to stop in this area. Extremely frustrated and disappointed in the Monash Council for issuing these fines, as there was obviously no effort by the parking inspector who kept issuing out the fines to have the courtesy to let me know that I couldn’t stop in that area. They are clearly taking advantage of this as a revenue-raising scheme, which is absolutely disgusting and has caused me significant financial and emotional stress. Monash council should be ashamed.
Great station and can’t wait for the underground loop!
