Beware the Monash Council's draconian parking restrictions. I went xmas shopping, parked in a 5 hr spot. There was a train accident causing considerable delays with all trains in the city in my return. I arrive back 20 minutes late to find a $96 fine stuck to my window. There were heaps of empty spots never used that day.nWe are being encouraged to use public transport but Monash Council is actively discouraging it. Why?nWhere do they get the 5hr limit from anyway? It seems a good limit to impose to get the maximum fines.nThe station itself is OK but the Council car parks are a disgrace.
Difficult to find parking 5 hour spots. Can't go to city and be back in exactly 5 hrs anyway, so a little bit over, I got fined! Parking signs misleading -- some parking spots you think are for public, and you park and run for the train. Then fined, as the spots are reserved for a Churc!!!!nCouncil is minting money! State govt wants you to use public transport. Councils don't!!!!
Probably one of the better end of line stations in Melbourne, probably only a 210 stab rating
It's a train station. Probably the best line in Melbourne demographic wise. Nice coffee shop nearby to grab a brew prior to boarding. Currently have to catch the train from Cranbourne which really makes me appreciate Glen Waverley.
Convenient location for trains for different areas covering city, Belgrave and many other places
