So upmarket now that its been revamped. Great access to platforms for all mobilities. Long platforms, ample room with adequate seating. All platforms are under cover. Always appears clean the times I've been there.
Absolutely appalled by the disinformation on the train station screens. I waited 20 minutes for a train that never arrived, only to eventually find out that the 9:11 and 9:21 trains had been cancelled. It took a full 20 minutes for the screens to update and for the audio notifications to inform passengers of the cancellations.nnThis delay and lack of accurate, timely updates had real consequences—I missed trams I could have taken instead. The service was not only unreliable but actively misleading, leaving passengers stranded and frustrated. It’s disgusting and unacceptable to be kept in the dark like this, especially when it leads to disrupted plans and wasted time. The communication systems need serious improvement to ensure this kind of chaos doesn’t happen again.
My fav suburb to be in! Everything is at an arms reach. Great schools two train stations including an express line, two fabulous shopping strips - Koornang and Glen Huntly Roads, great community that helps each other and an overall safe space. Love being part of this community.
It would be lovely if the toilets were open more often. They’re only open from 7am to 10am.
Utterly depressing and disgracefully unkempt place. Human faeces around the lift on platform 2 as of 03/05/24 and this remained there all day with various commuters stepping in it. Leaks and disgusting stains on the concrete walls around the tracks and around the lifts and platforms. Lift buttons broken and non functioning. Spit and litter everywhere, dirt dust and hairballs blowing around the stairs never appears to have been cleaned since it opened. Drinks and other things urine? spilled on platforms become permanent dark sticky stains for commuters to walk through and the leak of water that appears on the platform 1 stairs every single rain, is a safety hazard that I do not believe will ever be rectified as there is no one in the little office/counter area to report it to it has be shuttered for all but 2-3 days since the place opened to the public.nThe place is an eyesore and unsafe. Designed to be ugly and dirty, built to the lowest standards possible especially aesthetics and function by uncaring and incredible inept designers and tradespeople. Vandals are just finishing the job it’s designer and builder assigned to it-deterioration and destruction. A sad, despicable, unhygienic and unsafe place. Not a good idea to be here after dark.
