Glen Eira Dental is owned by James Gioutlou.
For the last 7 years, we were practicing out of Tucker Road Dental Clinic in Ormond and were lucky enough to expand into our new purpose built dental clinic July 2014.
Glen Eira Dental is also supported by our dedicated dentists Matthew, Naz and Vivian. We also have fabulous support staff Chelsea, Kate, Terri, Stella, Rutvi,Sharon, Laura and Carmine.
We practice family dentistry, general dentistry as well as provide "Thumbs-Up"- a quit thumb and finger sucking program for young children.
Glen Eira Dental is also a registered preferred provider for MEDIBANK PRIVATE, BUPA and HCF.

My family and I have been using this practice for over 3 years now and I can say that we have experienced several different dentists during this time. All the dentists are professional, polite and caring. The support staff are great, from the staff at the front desk to technician who supports the dentist and yourself during the procedures. The team is headed up by Doctor James who is simply brilliant, he takes the time to explain everything in detail before and after each process and he has the softest touch. I highly recommend this clinic, for all ages and especially for children as these dentists will create an atmosphere of nurture and care for teeth which is perfect for educating little ones on oral hygiene.

Not a good dentist clinic, the ladies that are staff are lovely don’t get me wrong, but the dentist Matthew has only caused grief to my tooth and gum, I’m receiving concurrent treatment to try and fix what he did to my gum, he took 0 liability for it. And at no expense of my own am I seeking dental treatment to try and undo what he has done to my tooth

Dr. James has been my dentist for over 10 years and has been fantastic! Always kind, very professional, his nurse Chelsea has also been a pleasure to deal with and talk to over the phone or in person The dentist can always be an uncomfortable experience for many of us, however Dr. James always makes sure to take his time, take care of me and my family and I highly recommend him to anyone who is searching for a kind, holistic and ethical dentist.

Highly recommended for anyone who is scared of the dentists like I use to be! Friendly staff group and modern clinic. The dentists are very gentle who helped me to get my orthodontic retainer clean each time.

Staff are extremely pleasant and the place felt very safe and clean. Jennifer was my dentist this last visit, previously James. I’d highly recommend both. Dental nurse was also extremely pleasant. Very happy al round :-

Matt, his assistant, the receptionist and from what I've seen the entire team are absolutely first class - I'm not scared anymore! I'd kept putting it off, and for the first time, I've found such kind, patient people that stopped and took the time to help me relax, encouraged me, and talked me through it, as well as answering my questions without any judgement. This is on top of brilliant treatment that was very gentle - everything was done with care - and a more than fair price. I could not recommend Matt and the team more highly, and feel very lucky to have found him. A huge thank you to them.

Love Glen Eira Dental. Excellent care and a wonderful family dentist. Clean, modern equipment and surroundings & extremely professional staff. I especially love the TV on the ceiling to distract me when I am having treatment or a teeth clean. Highly recommend Glen Eira Dental.

I hadnt been to the dentist in years because it's something I have come to dread and I have been to a number of dentists over the years. My upper gums at the front of my mouth are extremely sensitive... like nails on a chalk board. I saw Naz for the first time recently. Her and her assistant were excellent, walked me through everything and took extreme care. It was actually an overall positive experience. Looking forward to going back even :

Dr James is the Best Dentist ever !!! I used to be so Scared of going to the Dentist. Dr James is so gentle, you don’t even feel the needle in your gums. Been a patient of his for 20 years now. Won’t go to Anyone Else. He’s da Man !  Cheers Mark S

I will give a negative score if I can. Both bone and a healthy teeth were damaged during teeth extraction. Lost a healthy teeth for no reason! Lifetime regret of using their service.
