It's good for young lads. For older people or people with special needs may struggle to find lifts to go up. Otherwise, staff is friendly and their Public toilets are the one like we have in 90's old style.

Conveniently located on the corner of Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads in the GE town hall, which you can not miss from a kilometer away with its beautiful white clock tower. Plenty of off road parking is available and small but pleasant well tended gardens are a delight to wander through on your way to the one of the entrances. The gallery is best entered through the grand main entrance on the ground floor, ten steps and you are in this tranquil welcoming art gallery. Greeted with a friendly hello and a smile from one of the charming ladies tending the reception desk one is handed a catalogue and a brief but informative preview of what exhibition is currently being presented. The joy is that this gallery not only has a small resident exhibition but every few weeks a new artist, art group or renown artist is featured as the main presentation for one's delight and enjoyment. I highly recommend the Glen Eira gallery for a family or couples visit in a lovely environment for a couple of hours.

Fantastic exhibition currently on. Well worth a long visit. Good examples of light. Great examples of water especially Margaret Cowlings observations of Coburg lake.

A Council with ears painted on. Reported twice, the dangerous footpath at 228 and 228a Glenhuntly Road Elsternwick. Told on last contact that the Parks Dept. would be fixing it. Guess what? , No action. Soon will be videoing and placing on all available media outlets.
