I have been going to this market for 3 years now and I would say this is a great place to buy your fruits and veggies on cheap. It is a Saturday market only and finishes at 1 pm. If you need a steal then visit around 12 pm to get great deals. The fruits and veggies are fresh and the prices are great too. The community is amazing and it is a great place to spend your Saturday mornings. You will get seafood, fresh honey, kombucha, bread, flowers, organic products, eggs and killer sausage rolls too. The products are sold by local farmers who source the produce from their farms so the quality is amazing. If you are a Richmond local then this is a place to visit and contribute to the community. There is a lovely dog park and a great cafe right across Gleadell Street if you want a coffee or a quick bite.
This is a beautiful market and I just want said thanks to my customers in Richmond who bought my products under my brand KELKAY & SisterWorks products last Saturday:
It's conveniently close to home, and I like supporting local businesses. But it can be a little hit and miss with some of the products. Like a stale, overpriced Almond Croissant, or vegetables where the quality isn't the best, but you purchased it to support the underdog, then you get average service in return. Or vendors who don't offer digital payment options and suggest that you get cash from an ATM. But I like the vibe and have been going here on and off over the years as it's great to have an open air street market in the inner burbs.
This fabulous little street market opens every Saturday Morning in Richmond. 7am till 1pm. Loads of fresh farm produce and some nice bakery items and hot food. You will enjoy the visit.
A popular Saturday morning farmer's market in Richmond. Numerous sellers of fresh produce, flowers, seafood and baked goods. Prices are great for the inner-east including great specials on seasonal produce. It can be quite crowded and offerings are less nearer to 1pm when the market closes. There are some boutique dairy goods and a regular organic offering too.
A great local market. Many stalls are incredible value, we bag our weeks worth of fruit and veg with less than $20. Always busy with a good variety of produce. Be sure to get there early if you're in need of eggs, they tend to sell out! Also, be sure to bring bags or a trolly, its plastic bag free! A real community vibe and always feels good to support local. My husband loves the pastries too
Great markets on Saturday morning. Excellent range of providers. Fresh produce that is always great quality at good prices. And try the bacon and eggs rolls and coffee - good start to the day. Nice to support local supplier
Awesome little market that has everything I need! And love to support the farmers directly. Everything is so fresh, price is great. Love the flower stalls too they are so nice.
Love this busy energy filled Market. I am particularly fond of the Boulangerie French Lettuce.
Culturally very important part of Richmond and it's surroundings. Lots of variety of stores with varied quality of products etc. Wheel chair access, pet friendly etc. Every Saturday, 7am to 1pm. There is coffee, breads, pastries, jams, flowers to fish to chesses to much more. For good quality stuff visit early, for cheap and bargains visit later. Overall a great place to feel the village vibes of Richmond
