Plenty of tracks to choose based on your skill level and weather conditions. Circuit trails are on the easier side but still a very enjoyable bush walk with some scenic lookouts along the way. Summit hike does gets steep quickly and is only advisable for experienced hikers. We tried the summit route and went half way up and was greeted with beautiful views but once it became steel, we decided to turn around. It's not for all experience level and do be careful about your own skill before venturing in that route. Overall a beautiful day out close to both sunshine coast and Brisbane.
Spectacular Experience! A perfect place to watch the Moon rise and watch a Sunset - all the Mountains around look spectacular. Definitely worth a little de-tour if you come along the M1 for a trip - or maybe the next day!
The Glasshouse Mountains are a natural environment in which you can run, walk, climb, fall, die or simply chill for a picnic. You choose your level of risk, reward, adventure or ending. Try to ensure you select appropriately for your own skill level and don't make silly mistakes Have a great time out there everybody X 10/10 would recommend.
The park offers 5 trails which have a lot to offer. One trail circumnavigates Mt Tibrogorgan, the trachyte trail does that as well but includes a wider loop with yet another lookout to enjoy as well. The Yul-Yan-Man trail to Beerburrum though is the most spectacular one 2 to 2 ½ hours one way. So for this one some planning is advisable. XO
Great walking tracks and views. Always start early, especially in summer as it can get very hot
Lovely walk. Spectacular mountain. Good facilities at carpark. Steps at start of walk, managed with pusher.
