Excellent food, excellent service, excellent prices. Wonderful staff who are incredibly friendly and attentive. Nice classic slice of heaven in Sydney, and absolutely perfect across the board. Could not recommend this place enough if you're in the mood for a country pub taste hidden in Sydney. Food was prompt, hot, and delicious - as were the drinks. We ordered a double beef and bacon tasty and juicy, a classic fish and chips fresh and crispy and a bangers and mash tastes just like home, but better. Overall experience was incredibly pleasant and absolutely perfect.
One of the best for the price. The chicken was great. Not dry just good and the tomato paste okay. The ham was a off the bone cut nothing to flash but a good portion. The cheese was a bit light on. The chips were French fries but cooked perfectly and on the plate fresh and hot. hard to do with French fries The salad was very small but I have had worse. Four out of five plates cleaned. For the price untouchable.
Do not eat at the pub. Yes it was already 10pm, but I asked if they still serve and they said yes. After 40min I walked into the kitchen to check. There was nobody in the kitchen at all. I went down to the bar to check and got told oh yeah the chef didn't see the order. Yeah no wonder he can't see the order if he isn't even in the kitchen. When they brought the food, they threw it on the table while looking away. No sorry, no complementary drink, no nothing. I only had calamari and chips but even the calamari had way too much salt. Couldn't eat it. Horrible food and service!!!
Great pub. Meals well in budget & nice. Good cocktails. Drinks reasonably priced. Good if you karaoke & trivia. Also has smoking area. Great local pub.Service: 5/5
Amazing Hotel and Sports Bar with good bar food. It's a self service place which is a bit disappointing specifically even to pick up your food and cutlery. Pool table which is fun and entertaining if ur group of 4 or More and has outdoor seating too. Best Wishes
Great food and cocktails Prices are very cheap for inner city area Karaoke on Friday night made it very busy Walkability: Light rail from Central station to Dulwich Hill line makes it very easy to get to as the exhibition centre station is half a block away. Food & drinks: Great variety of food most meals were $12 Cocktails $10 -$15
Loved our staY here Staff were beyond friendly and helpful rooms immaculately clean and comfy..once we found our way around close to darling harbour and markets etc. Pub meals delicious and very reasonable. Will be staying again ExcellentRooms: 4/5
Visiting from Rockhampton, first-time visitors to Sydney, and thanks to the team at Glasgow Arms Hotel, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Perfectly located in the heart of Sydney 15 min walk to, star casino, darling harbour, Sydney Central Great pub, food, drinks, service all amazing. Rooms are clean and tidy, comfortable bed, will definitely be back.
Great food and great Karaoke Friendly staff and great customer service. Everyone is friendly and I'd you're a first timer. Everyone is open arms and very friendly. Don't be shy, have a look and introduce yourself if you're visiting from near or far across the world pop in and check out the food and the Karaoke and friendly patrons/customers and staffs. Enjoy!!
With very limited options for eateries in the area on a Sunday night, I found the Glasgow Arms Hotel. Whilst the menu on the evening was limited, the food, service and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I didn't catch the names of the staff, however they made me feel so welcome. Its the feelings that create the memory, so wanted to thank you for making a solo customer feel connected.
