Welcome to Glamour Cake Facebook page!

Here, you can find out a bit more about me (Bree Scott) and my delicious cake creations, including what’s on my daily menu, any upcoming surprises and how to order or purchase my products.

I am a local baker in Christchurch, New Zealand. I work at the Lyttelton Bakery most days of the week. I've been baking for six years and am the founder of Glamour Cake.

Glamour Cake goodies are available to buy from the Lyttelton Bakery. If you are planning a special trip across town to check out Glamour Cake, Saturday is usually the best day to visit. The shop is fully stocked with treats like donuts, freak shakes and lots of different flavours of cheesecakes and cakes!

I usually have one or two cheesecake selections available on weekdays, and freak shakes are available to order between 8am-2pm.

The menu changes every day, so keep an eye on this page for updates!

Look. Your biggest problem is going to be deciding what to have! I brought my two kids in here and we left with some tasty treats that we all enjoyed!nnThe Steak, Bacon and Cheese pie was everything I've hoped for whenever I buy this variety at other bakeries: generous amounts of crispy, streaky bacon with bloody gorgeous amounts of tender, fat-free, gristle-free chunks of meat! The pie alone was worth the visit and sorry, no photo because I'd almost finished it before thinking to snap a picnnAlso snapped up a Snickers Cheesecake donut. Imagine my delight when I cut into it and chocolate oozed out The cream had enough of a cheesecake vibe without being heavy like your typical cheesecake can be. I took a gamble in this flavour and it paid off!nnThe kids both enjoyed a lemon meringue cookie pie try saying THAT 10 times fast and loved it.nnBe prepared to spend more than your typical bakery. But also be prepared that your paying for genuine quality, baked art!
The only problem we have is that we can’t get these delicious treats more often. Living an hour from Lyttelton means we only get to enjoy these once or twice a year.nnThe donuts are so good, so worth the drive. Your efforts are very much appreciated. Easy to find on the main street of Lyttelton with lots of street parking.nCongrats on the five years of being in business!nThe pie was a mince and cheese, the pastry was nice and flaky, lots of meat filling with a generous amount of cheese, and perfect eating temperature.nThe cookie slice was also delicious, the wooden spoon couldn't quite hack the hard base, thankfully there was lots of napkins on hand for the mess of ramming it into my mouth.nMaybe a bit pricey at $17.50.nLots of seating inside and out.nNot really sure i liked the set up of trying to look at the cabinet of food while people are standing infront of it and being asked what i want when i cant see, and having people behind me trying to squeeze past...
Food was lovely. But I suppose like most bakeries now, your looking $8-9.50 a pie now so for 3 of us with sweet treats each and a drink, it was close if not over $50. Food looked delish which made it hard to choose but we enjoyed what we had
Came here for my birthday this year, and last year. The food is always amazing. Highly recommend their Pork belly pies, and Mince pies. I had a slice of their Vanilla and Raspberry cake. It was absolutely mouthwatering. Topped off with a flat white, perfect. The view there is a huge bonus as well.
