Story

Established in 1976, Gisborne Carpets Flooring Xtra is a locally owned family owned business. Started by John and Andrea Clarke, son Adrian joined the business in 2006, strengthening the management team with his retail, management and customer service experience. We are Gisborne's longest running family owned flooring retail store. With over 50 years experience in the wool industry and combined qualifications with the trade, wool and business management, Gisborne Carpets Flooring Xtra is well versed in the flooring retail and offers a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

From the start Adrian and the team were great to deal with, offering good advice on what would look right and work well in our home. Once ordered the communication was great and the install superb. We’ve now done our entire house with these guys and couldn’t be happIer.
Just got three rooms plus stairs carpeted. Clear quote, quick service and great price - and best of all it looks great. Adrian went out of his way to get the metal edging in one room painted black to better match the window. Highly recommend.
