Located on York Street (Princes Hwy), The Gippsland Hotel - known to the locals as The Gippy - is a great place to meet locals, catch up with friends or enjoy a meal on the way to or from your holiday destination.

We went for lunch on a Friday. Was fairly busy. The food was out quickly. My husband had fish & chips. Said the fish wasn't nice, but I enjoyed my parmi.

Staying at The Gippy for the night. Comfortable clean room, soft bed that might be a little squeaky, and clean modern bathrooms. The shower had limited water flow, & I did lose hot water for about 20 seconds, but overall good value for the $45 on a Saturday night. 
Had a chicken parmy at the bar for dinner. Excellent feed, with middy of beer thrown in, for

Got called out infront of people for not having my knife and fork in the right spot. Vegetables were half cooked and mash tasted off

Just one sentence sums it up. 16+ varieties of parma. Always been able to accommodate our walk-in large groups and the meals are quite generous and delicious.

Great Sale Hotel for a drink or two with friends. No pokies. Pure bliss. Great staff. Friendly service.
