From the start the place was poorly organised, no one seemed to know how to get a table, everyone just waited at the front for some sort of service. Eventually people figured that a staff member had to put your name down on a waiting list, we waited for at least 30 to 40mins. The staff did not pay much attention and appear to fall behind in services when under the pump, this was disappointing considering how big the place is and how much staff is on, once we finnaly got a table, our table was not prepped and it took approximately 20 - 30min for the service. We made our first buffet order which again took approximately 20mins for the first batch of food to come out and the servings pretty small which means we would have to order again. The food quality was inconsistent, good/average and to add on, we were not provided with cooking tongs from the start and we had to wait 15min for just a pair. Poor service. The place looked nice, very Japanese theme to it. The service was self explanatory throughout the review. Photos are a few batches of orders later, i had to litterally put in 10x the meat orders just to get a good amount. I was very excited to eat here but to leave in disappointment, it was probably the worst JBBQ/KBBQ service ive had in a while. You guys need to review on how things run to make the service more efficent. I feel that things are not well organised.
The premium buffet at Ginza Yakiniku in burwood was great, the wagyu meat was soft and melts in your mouth, The scollops were nice and big. The cooked food was delicious. The staff were moving quickly to get everyone order. They may ask you to leave after 1hr and 30min but they left us alone when we over stayed which was nice.
Nice comfortable place. Service is extremely quick. We went for the deluxe buffet. All up you are given 100 minutes with your last order being 70 minutes after your first order. Food was fresh and even though it was an all you can eat the servings were a good size. The only thing they could improve on is an automatic ordering system at the table. It did get little frustrating calling for service every time we wanted to order more. It's in the shopping mall so plenty of parking downstairs.
Today was our first visit and likely will be our last. To be fair, we'd normally give every business a second chance but for what it's worth, the price at this place really isn't worth coming back. Every single dish is quantified by the smallest proportions, e.g. a button mushroom cut into quarters = 'butter mushrooms' from their menu, like seriously? The sashimi was not very fresh, particularly the King Fish. Finally, the quality of their Wagyu and other meats were sub par - honesty could get better quality elsewhere. The two star rating is for the fast service.
Having read some previous reviews before my visit I could see that most if not all agreed that the quality of the food was excellent and that the service wasn't that attentive so I was expecting some terrible service To my delight the result was quite the opposite. The staff were very nice, the only downside was the size of each portion. The meat would cook too quickly because it was too thin. I would absolutely recommend visiting this place.
Excellent food choice, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you like the Korean style BBQ restaurants. I visited here with my wife and we had a great time perusing the vast range of food and sampling all the unique flavours. We also had a Group On voucher which was honoured without hesitation.
Their selection of all you can eat meats, sashimi, veggies in the deluxe buffet option is amazing! Comfortable seating is a plus, and built-in ventilation in the bbq also means that you don’t walk out smelling like food.
Not recommended. We tried this place 4 times now, each time it gets worse. We wanted to give it a chance to improve, with 2-3 months between each visit. But they just haven't made any progress. What we like initially: - food variety - food quality - decent service time - friendly service What's gotten worse: - food variety reduced, e. G. Chicken cartilage, ox tongue no longer available - the wait for food, be prepared to wait, especially the weekend. - food quality reduced, the photo shows a $4 plate of mushrooms... It's basically one mushroom cut in 4 with a bit of butter. I'm can't be bothered showing the 9 piece sashimi plate, they should be ashamed for serving it at all. This is the last visit...
Really liked the entire interior design, calming and relaxing. Food was fresh and did come with quite big portion. Highly recommend oyster, salmon dishes and fresh grapefruit soda! Definitely go for it again.
Good Japanese Bbq Buffet, good variety of choices. Good service though it can be alittle busy at times. Would recommend to book during the weekends.
