Ginza has warm relaxing vibes, the staff were friendly, and I enjoyed the hip music playing from the speakers. As for the food, overall it was... okay, not the best. The meat and seafood section for grilling was not entirely fresh, while the sushi was limited in variety. The pictures of their food on their Facebook page gave the impression that many types of sushi were available, but when we went there for dinner only two were on offer. Otherwise, the cooked food section and the matcha ice cream <3 were pretty good. Sashimi was also available at our leisure and delivered in portions to our table whenever we wanted, which was good.
Disappointing is an understatement. After finding this place on Facebook and being tagged a number of times by friends that we should try this. I took my partner here tonight. The dishes available where not the same as advertised. Items such as tuna, salmon and king fish sashimi where not there. Meat cuts available where pretty standard for a Korean bbq with the added extras of Seafood included at no extra cost octopus, mussels, fish & prawn. The seafood was not fresh. Very limited greens /salad was available. Most of the limited sushi bar was also not fresh either. Cooked entrees was mostly just fried items which where dry and tasteless. The venue itself was quite strange. At the front was the fine dinning but behind closed doors at the back was the buffet area. This area had little ventilation and was more like a outhouse than a restaurant. Everything in this part seemed very low class and cheap. I even noticed the glasses had come from Ikea. Service was good but as we went to pay. I double checked the receipt and realised we had been over charged. This was fixed but I definitely don't think it's worth $40 a head. Unfortunately I have become unwell since visiting here tonight. Possibly the seafood or sushi. I don't think we will be coming back. Better deals available else where with more range and better quality food. Plus I also feel it's false advertising to show sashimi etc but have none available on the day.
The food was extremely well made, presented and filling. 5 out of 5 for the food. The aesthetics of the place visually was nice, but could have done with some background Japanese music to set the mood. Unfortunately Ginza was let down by the service. Not exactly very polite or hospitable. Tables weren't set, had to ask for cutlery and chopsticks, Sapporo beer advertising everywhere yet ordered a Sapporo and they were out of stock. It was very nice of the cheff from out the back to say thank you and goodbye but nothing from the waiters. Apparently new management. If they added a bit more effort to their hospitality it would be a fantastic Japanese experience.
It’s ok for what we paid for. Took a little bit longer to replenish the hot food. No much selection tonight regarding food . It was ok overall friendly staffs and family orientated restaurant.
Ginza is separated into two dining areas, there's a la carte menu dining or a BBQ buffet, I recommend booking ahead to avoid missing out. I enjoyed the deluxe sushi and sashimi platter and tonkatsu chicken. Good selection of beers and wine and so on. Recommended
Tuesday night dimmi 50% dining special. Even with the exclusion items removed we had more than enough variety to chose from. Lovely flavours, friendly service. We didn't go into bbq area so had from ala carte. Very happy.
Amazing atmosphere, great service. Top notch food and an all you can eat authentic style Japanese BBQ. Go here.
Great food & great service. The extremely friendly waitress picked out our sake for us and it was simply divine.
This is what I arrived to on last Tuesday 6:30pm, a lot of empty trays and smelly seafood. I am pretty sure Department of Heath and Well-being will be visiting you guys very very soon. Will give you 0 star if I can
Food and service was pleasant. Easy and comfortable place to have a meal.
