Somewhat out of place in Canungra, but that makes it a treat in itself. We have recently moved nearby and will be repeat customers for sure. Food was great, atmosphere was fun. Clean, quick service, food came out quickly. We had the katsu curry, the fries, and the special dragon sushi plate. All very delicious and satisfying.nnOnly recommendations are for team to not have very loud and excited personal conversations while working we found it entertaining, but it was definitely over sharing and I imagine other patrons might be put off by it, and sharpen up the cocktail menu and offerings by making them $15 and having a menu that explains what each drink is, having to ask the bar is a barrier and is why we didn’t get cocktails on this occasion.nnThe theme of the venue could make for very fun cocktail ideas, your food is very aesthetic and great cocktails will really round that out.
Good place with good food. Specially the Sumo and Katsu Burger.
Always an excellent meal and service. Drop in!nParking is easy and it's a great environment.
Rode down to Canungra awhile back with my Dad on the motorbike, decided to stop for a meal. I saw this place and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan and gluten free options being advertised so my Dad and I decided to eat there. First impression was that the staff were lovely and polite and the they obviously had done a great job in maintaining cleanliness.nnAs we perused the menu, we were thrilled to discover a wide array of options that catered to both our preferences. The inclusion of burgers and chips/meat-orientated food ensured that we could find something suitable for both myself, with vegan and gluten-free needs, and my Dad, who enjoys his classic meat dishes. It was a win-win situation for both of us.nnI ordered battered tofu side with a deconstructed sushi poke ball and a kombucha from the fridge, my dad saw that they had a lot of chicken offered on the menu so concluded that was a chef speciality and had a chicken burger with a beer. Came out quickly and was DELICIOUS! The avocado was perfectly ripe, ingredients fresh, sushi rice cooked just right with crisp lettuce, and to mention the presentation was just flawless!nnMy Dad is usually not a fond of vegan food, but I let him try the tofu and he was a fan! I was particularly impressed with the portion size of the poke ball, which necessitated a takeaway container to securely carry it home under my motorbike jacket. This, in itself, is a testament to how much I enjoyed it haha.nnNext time though, I would sit outside as the bar stools are a bit uncomfortable no fault to Ginja Ninja though, that's on Dad and I for choosing to sit there haha.nnDad and I regularly talk about how good that food was and how much we enjoyed the experience. Was a fun time for both of us- definitely will be coming back!
The service was fantastic and the food was fresh and delicious. The cafe and bar were very clean and there was a great atmosphere. Everytime I visit Canungra I stop here for the Teriyaki Tofu Bowl.
