Stopped by kind of on a whim. This place is AMAZING!!!! The pies (potato, lentil and curry) were........not even going to try and describe them. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Riwaka, you just have to try one. Or 2. Then we went up and got 4 more for tea through the week. And the Coffee was the best I've had in a long time. WORTH THE TRIP! (Full disclosure, I'm Gabrielle's husband. Just noticed I'm on her acct but she loved it too! Probably even more than me!)

Outside seating but does have a container done up that you can sit in if wet ..food lovely ..great pies and sausage rolls ..coffee very good..

Great little destination for a day trip from Nelson. A lovely range of tasty food, good coffee and washed down with their own ginger pop. Very recommended.

Even in the onsetting Winter, Ginger Dynamite is a must-stop for passers-through in Riwaka. The outdoor seating offers crisp fresh air and an indoor module offers warmth for those recently returned from the BMX tracks. The coffee is excellent, and thoroughly worth the trip from Kaiteriteri, Takaka, or Collingwood. The beautiful meat or vegetarian pies look too good to be true. Go here for a uniquely Kiwi stop and enjoy a glass or bottle of Ginger Dynamite's own ginger pop!
