What a classic railway building for a cafe. Absolutely lovely food and staff. Great atmosphere of a time gone past. Well recommended Food: 5/5

Have eaten here for the first time over the last 3 weeks. The first time I had the big breakfast, it was tasty and the service was great and the large coffee is actually a large coffee. The only thing I would say is the meal wasn't as large as I expected for a big breakfast. The rest of the family was happy with their food. The second time I grabbed their Angus burger, $17.50 which was tasty. When it came out for that price surprisingly it had no chips. I don't know why as a country that we are now paying $17.50 for a burger but it doesn't come with something they always used to come with which is chips. Overall food was nice and service was great, we will eat there again.

Located in the old Helensville railway station building, lovely place as it’s like a visit to the past With older decor such as Kauri floorboards. Good selection of Food and beverages, pleasant service and indoor and outdoor tables . Would visit again.

Great coffee and good food - tasty and good options including vegetarian. Nicely decorated in old railway station. Lost one star due to initial servicing staff member when ordering- a smile and making us feel like we weren't a hassle would go a long way! Food arrived with staff who were  friendly and gracious.  Vegetarian options: Lovely chickpea, spinach and pumpkin not sausage roll.

There was an issue with my card, long story short I paid twice. The nice lady was more than happy to refund me. Great service and friendly staff. 6 out of 5. Massive coffee tooFood: 5/5

This was a chance find and a fortunate one. The character and space are awesome as were the staff and food, a big serve of nachos with generous sauces. This is an exceptional place .Food: 5/5

Got my order wrong which is no biggie ,but the response was a little cold when I returned it.  Disappointing attitude , young lady on service needs to listen more carefully to customers.   Coffee was very average . The food was nice when I eventually got what I asked for.

Edit: Was disappointed, a local raved about this place. I was waiting for a moment to go came in with my Fiance, a lovely hub for a cafe. However,  I was greeted with a rude reprimand from the staff who informed me she felt frustrated with people touching the glass. I was just trying to decide  pointing lightly , I was shock and not willing to accept this as a customer, maybe she too was having a bad day. However,  if she doesn't own the cafe first impressions mean alot. Makes me not wanna go back as bad vibes  Owner was apologetic and sought to resolve the issue and encouraged me back.

Really nice cafe in the old railway building. Great coffee and food choices that won't leave you hungry. Well worth a visit or drop in when you are passing through.
